Very happy - Edit
I had brunch at this place and the food was delicious. I got a hummus sandwich and Apfel Strudel. Both great. The restaurant is vegan/vegetarian but most of the options are vegan. The staff is also very friendly and the place is cozy and nice!

Ich hatte den kürbis bala auf Grünkohl mit Kastanienmus und es war geschmacklich sehr gut, kreativ aber die Portion etwas klein. Im Mittagsmenü mit einer Holunderschorle für ca. 12€ aber doch in Ordnung.

When we saw this restaurant on HappyCow we were curious. We have had no experience with south Tiroler cuisine, so we decided to give it a try.
Read moreEverything on the menu sounded kind of nice, so we had no idea what to pick. We asked the waiter to surprise us, and that he did. We shared everything between the four of us and had a lovely meal.
We tried some of the deserts as well, they were all quite tasty.

Food was good, but given the price neither a lot nor very creative. It somehow was creative yes, but the food was with time rather repetitive; would have wished for more different flavours. Nevertheless it is a valid option if you seek dumplings.

Inventive and Delicious - Edit
A great, unique vegetarian restaurant with ample vegan options that combines traditional Alpine cuisine with a delicious, plant-based inventiveness. The Bala, or Bales, (Knödel) are extremely good, and the variety is great too--I can't wait to sample them all! So far I've thoroughly enjoyed the Steinpilz mit Artischocken (I'm always up for good mushrooms:). The vegan Apfelstrudel was excellent, if not the very fluffiest, most perfect one I've ever tried, but I would get it again and also look forward to trying more of their vegan desserts.

The space is comfortable and pleasant and the service is friendly and very good.

Unique South Tyrolian-style eatery - Edit
The restaurant looks stylish yet cozy, prices seem to be on the higher end but are imo absolutely worth it, portions and dumplings might look small but lentils, bread and other sides are filling, and the taste was very good, I recommend the crispy porcini dumplings with the burger. They have a lot of vegan desserts as well.

Für jemand, der schon länger vegan ist, mal eine schöne Abwechslung mit alpenländischer Küche - Knödel, die hier Bala heißen (südtirolerisch) in den unterschiedlichsten Variationen und Beilagen. Ich war unter der Woche zu MIttagszeit dort. Es war nicht viel los. In der Straße reiht sich eine Gaststätte an der anderen, dies mag auch ein Grund dafür sein.

Essen war sehr lecker, Bedienung freundlich.
Günstiges Mittagsmenü!. Die Speisekarte findet man auf der Internetseite, allerdings etwas versteckt, die Mittagsmenü Preise sind dort aber nicht aufgelistet.

We just stopped for a snack and a coffee during our train stopover in Munich. The food is very nice and it has a unique theme (alpine food) in a vegetarian/vegan key, which was really nice!

And the service was really friendly and attentive!
