Indian (mostly South-Indian) vegetarian restaurant with some vegan options (dosa, idli, etc.). also has some Chinese options. It is part of an international chain of restaurants. The place is very popular and can be crowded especially at dinner time. This branch does not have their own website. There are two more branches in Abu Dhabi, Electra Road and Musafa. Open Mon-Sun 7:30am-3:00pm, Mon-Wed 5:30pm-11:00pm, Thu-Fri 5:30pm-11:30pm, Sat-Sun 5:30pm-11:00pm.

Great vegetarian food, canteen style - Edit
This is definitely not the place for a romantic dinner. The atmosphere is pretty much canteen-like, big, with simple interior and fast and busy (and not superfriendly) staff, but the food is great and they really have a huge selection of authentic Indian vegetarian food. The vegan options are fairly limited though and it is advisable to doublecheck if there REALLY is no "ghee" or another dairy product in a meal. There is a chance that too many questions annoy the staff. I had the impression that they are used to mainly Indian customers who come for a quick bite, don't ask too many questions and disappear soon to make room for the next customers. At least the dosa and the idli are vegan and delicious and I really enjoyed them (the white stuff on the photos is coconut chutney). But I do have my doubts on some components of the "mini tiffin" which was sold to me as "vegan"...
Read morePros: very good authentic food, cheap
Cons: tough to identify the vegan options, uninterested staff
