Bad service - Edit
Staff shows me the menu..... and doesn't say anything. I ordered.... and she comes back 5 minutes later ... "Sorry, no Wantan Mee", so I order fried rice.
Read moreFew minutes later, she comes back.... "Sorry, no carrot juice", so I ask for 100 Plus.
Few minutes later, she comes back... "This vegetable dish you ordered, no more".
WTF!! I didn't come here to play Menu Roulette....
Pathetic!
Pros: Can't think of any...
Cons: My blood pressure went up...

Lovely food - Edit
Very nice veggie food for low cost. Had the vege fish hotpot & eggplant dish, plus white fungus papaya soup for dessert. Good staff, nice simple atmosphere.

Wholesome Food Prepared With Care... - Edit
There are so many of these restaurants around here that it is hard to do something to make yourselves stand out. Sandalo does a pretty good job though. The first thing you'll notice is the menu is pretty huge but then again, that's just preparing you for the food portions. If you order a meal without the intention of sharing, you are going to be FULL.
Read moreAll the food dishes we had were prepared well but maybe just lacking a bit in the flavour department, specifically, they could do with getting a bit more spice where it's expected.
Don't get too attached to the photos in the menu as most of the dishes either looked very different or had substituted ingredients. Not a problem for us as we were more than happy with what we ended up with.
Edit: Previous review mentioned meal prices being 15-20 MYR but the current menu does seem to be cheaper. Dishes ranged from 8-18 MYR with most coming in under 15 MYR.

Pros: Had no problem parking, Nice, big, generous portions, Comfortable place. Wasn't too busy.
Cons: Didn't get tempeh with my nasi lemak!, Menus a bit confusing. Why were there two?

Cozy and Relax Place - Edit
Very nice and greenie deco with lots of plants in the restaurant. Food was not too bad, to my opinion - deep fried dish is a little too oily for me.

Very high end quality restaurant - Edit
I wasn't really expecting such a nice place and was about reluctant considering my budget. But I decided to enjoy what they offered and not cloud the experience because of my own limited funds or lack of interest in fancy restaurants.
Read moreSandals defiantly has good quality all around. Nice and friendly staff and a very helpful manager. I got help finding a subtitle item for my picky needs and they made sure it came fully vegan without oil. I was very pleased. Could have wished for more veggies in the dish because simple vegetables are so cheap anyway and what I believe every dish should be based on. Not the noodles or rice.
Prices ranged from MR15-20 which isn't bad at all for such a nice experience. Extremely beautiful menus and nice pots and plates. Every item on the menu lists what non-vegan ingredients it contains.
They have wifi and take credit cards.
I also tried the deserts which were delicious.
Pros: good quality, easy vegan options, fair price
Cons: Too few vegetables in meal
