Okay for a quick bite

Dropped by here for dinner during our road trip from Vancouver to the Rockies. I got the veggie yakisoba with added tofu and two inarizushi rolls. Food was nothing to write home about and actually pretty expensive for what it was. Well, at least they have a separate veggie menu with vegan options clearly marked. So there's that.

Pros: separate veggie menu

Cons: pricey

Great service, average rolls

Quick and friendly service but the rolls I had (garden and avocado) were a bit of a let down.

veg menu

They have a separate well labeled veg menu. We had 2 rolls and 2 tofu udon noodle dishes. All were great.

Great Japanese food!

We had dinner at Sanbiki and it was delicious. The vegan items were clearly marked on the menu (no need to request the vegetarian menu anymore) and there were plenty of options. We shared two rolls, tempura mushrooms and tofu steak and it was all really tasty and cheap! The service was good and the food came quickly.

Pros: Great food, Lots of vegan options, Great price

Cons: Not a visually appealing place

Vegetarian Japanese

With a focus on fresh and local, this restaurant serves up authentic Japanese fare. The vegetarian menu - which you should ask for when you are seated - conveniently indicates which items are vegan and which contain fish. (Many Japanese dishes contain fish broth or other fish seasoning). For lunch, the veggie bento is completely satisfying and a reasonable $10. Also recommended: spicy spinach roll, tofu steak, avocado salad, asparagus salad.

Pros: excellent food, nice atmosphere

Cons: not pure vegetarian
