Nice restaurant, good food - Edit
There aren't many Moluccan restaurants and many people won't know or taste the difference with Indonesian food in general (which we are largely blessed with in the Netherlands). So I was really curious.
Read moreFor a start: the ambience was nice and cosy, the staff very friendly.
I had the Moluccan vegan bowl. What surprised me was that the nasi kuning (yellow rice) wasn't as yellow as you find in many toko's and small restaurants.
It was very tasty overall.
Pros: Good food, no artificial coloring, Very friendly staff, One of the few Moluccan restaurants

Indonesian heaven - Edit
Family run, and delightful people, mum came out at the end which was lovely to pass on our compliments. I had the vegan bowl and shared the sate skewer with my boyfriend. The skewer was a fake chicken. The bowl was incredible, loads of different flavours and massive portion. The satay sauce with the complimentary crackers to start was out of this world. Great vibe, busy atmosphere, great one to visit as a vegan. My omni boyfriend was also very impressed.

Quite tasty - Edit
Very cosy small neighborhood restaurant, but I came here only for takeaway. They have a bunch of different "bowls" which are just classic rice with meat and side dishes like in other Dutch Indonesian restaurants. They do have one vegan bowl, which has rice, two vegetable dishes and three vegan meat dishes (tofu, tempeh, jackfruit). One "bowl" is plenty for one person, and it's a nice variety of flavors. It could do with a little more kick inho, food was not spicy. Overall a decent place, will go again probably.
