Not very clear what's vegan - Edit
It is a nice place with friendly waitresses but we tried to order vegan tapas only and we got cheese on top of two dishes. They did not spoke english.

Delicious vegan lunch sitting outside in the Plaza de San Francisco. The burger with soja mayonesa was tasty; as were the fries. I really enjoyed the salmorejo starter. It was a nice relaxing lunch in the plaza.

Although they advertise vegan options, our waitress was not well-informed on what it meant (she suggested dishes with eggs and chicken broth). Service was a bit brusque.
Read moreThe salmorejo was OK but you need to ask to omit the ham and egg to make it vegan. The vegetable wok was quite disappointing: I had expected some carbs or proteins (like noodles and tofu) but it's just a small, sad bowl of (extremely greasy) sauteed vegetables.
Other vegan options include a burger and lasagna. The only dessert is fruit. Although I'm happy to see that they have vegan options, I think they could be greatly improved.
Good deal for the menu del dia: 12.90 euros for an appetizer, main course, bread, dessert, and drink. Nice outdoor seating by the square.

Extremely nice staff but was disappointed by the food - Edit
Decided to come to San Francisco Uno because of its score in Happy Cow. The place and location are lovely, and the staff couldn't be nicer. However, we had to wait for a very long time to be served (the waiter did apologize and explained that they were short of staff and they were full house).

This restuarant does have clearly marked veggie/vegan options and the food is very good. But....The portions are small for the price, and arguably not worth it when other tapas places are cheaper.

I love the fact that they had a full and comprehensive vegan/vegetarian menu. Some of the items appeared to be vegetarian, and when I inquired which of them were vegan, was told that all of the menu items could be made vegan, and they were right! The staff was very open about reassuring me as to what they used as ingredients. I fell in love with the fried eggplants with molasses, the spinach croquetas, the pasta salad, and oh yeah, did I mention the spinach croquetas? Those are served with a vegan mayonnaise for dipping, which I really didn’t expect. I came here twice, once for a quick dinner and once for a cool drink and a quick bite for lunch, and adored it. I’d highly recommend what I mentioned, but the whole vegan/vegetarian menu sounded great, so try as much as you can! Tapas for dayssss! The location is also a plus for me, was basically a block from my hotel, in a good spot in el centro.

Excellent vegan options, although expensive - Edit
This restaurant has vegan dishes that are really good. The vegan paella (typical spanish rice, whit vegetables in this case) is excellent, one of the best I ever tasted. It is a little bit expensive for an everyday meal, but excellent for a celebration. And it is very beautiful

Visit July 2017 with 2 persons: one person vegan/one person non vegan.
Read moreMost unfriendly service, even before we asked if they had vegan options. Unable/unwilling to understand, got rude when they brought something we hadn't ordered, as clear told "sin huevos".
My son had pork, which was served undercooked an looked quite digesting.
We went there on advice of "Happy Cow" :(
