Yummy, yummy warm belly - Edit
As soon as I mentioned I was vegetarian the adorable waitress helped me to choose. Bombay Bowl was delicious. I asked for the regular size.

Delicious, hearty food - Edit
I ate here with my omni partner, and we both loved the food. The menu is quite limited, but there is a very good vegan option (the bombay bowl), and they offer vegan garlic butter to go with the bread. The bowls come in two sizes, baby and regular. The regular bowl is very generous and I couldn't finish all of the bread. Staff are very pleasant and speak English. The menu is also in English. Would definitely recommend this place for vegans and vegetarians wanting hearty food in Oslo.

Tasty but no vegan spreads - Edit
The soup itself was delicious, but it’s a shame that while these bowls usually comes with garlic butter to spread on the leftover bread, there is no vegan alternative offered so it’s a lot of plain bread. It’s also quite pricey but that might just be Oslo

Very tasty, fun concept! - Edit
Two vegan bread bowl options: an Indian lentil soup and an Indonesian coconut soup. Both looked delicious, I chose the second one. Price quality is good (considering how expensive Oslo is), nice bread and soup was very tasty. Would definitely return.

Fabulous and cheap bread bowls - Edit
Came highly rated and did not disappoint. They always have 2 different vegan breadbowls on offer. Very well priced, especially considering it’s Norway.

Die Suppen wurden wirklich in einem Brot serviert und Sie waren sehr lecker! Wir hatten die Bombay- und Indonesian Bowl. Es gab zwei Vegane Varianten von insgesamt sieben. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Good in theory - Edit
The idea of putting things inside a bowl made of bread is amazing and it did taste really good. They even use sourdough which I believe is gluten free? But the bread part was super difficult to eat and I ended up getting it everywhere!! Worth it though

Highly recommended! The friendliest staff ever, plus delicious food! - Edit
Super friendly staff, cozy interior, delicious savory and satisfying bread bowls and a range of beers and kombuchas on tap. The vegan options are clearly marked and I think some of the people involved are either vegan or vegetarian. Anyway, the staff really went out of their way to make our visit here nice and memorable. Located in Frogner right by a buss stop, it’s easy to get to. They have seating on two floors, plus outdoor seating as well. Also the prices are quite reasonable. Definitely check this place out!
