Mee Siam - Edit
We had the 𝒎𝒆𝒆 𝒔𝒊𝒂𝒎 and run-off-the-mill 𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒆. In the morning they serve economic beehoon/ rice and daily specials (which are not indicated anywhere, you’ve to ask auntie about it). From late afternoon onwards, they serve tzhi char.

Used to be a great place but now - Edit
I am having breakfast at this place for many years. The foods are delicious and worth for value. However today I am having a dried noodle here. It make me surprise. A plate of noodle cost 3.5 and only having few veg and veg "zhaier" although I was asking not to having mock meat. Hope the boss can think the way out how to serve better value thing with long run stall. Many the staff need to retrain.

Convenient location - Edit
Less than 5 mins from Yishun MRT station. The queue is always long during 1st and 15th. The sinchew fried bihun and assam fish are tasty. The economic rice dishes could be quite oily. Do note that the hygient level in the coffee shop are quite unsatisfactory.

As like other same name San De vegetarian stalls, dishes are quite similar. Varieties ok. Price reasonable.

Decent place to eat at the neighbourhood - Edit
It is kind of near to the train station, selling local food court fair. Price is ok, "fish" and chips at 5$, mixed rice/ noodle depends of what you choose at 3 to 5 dollars. More at the greasy spoon side.

Near Yishun MRT - Edit
This is another San De foodstall. All their menus are similar including the cai png dishes. Taste may differ because of the different chefs following the same recipe.
Read moreZi char dishes tend to contain eggs but you can request to omit them.
When I feel like eating plain porridge with side dishes, I will come here in the morning. Plain porridge is not always available depending on the timing. Their dou bao (豆包) braised in gravy goes really well with porridge.
If you are dining in, the food is served on a piece of brown paper over a tray. This is terrible especially if you are sitting outside where the fans are on full blast. They do have plates and bowls but they don't use them unless requested.
