10$ falafel plate. Very good price cuality. Considering how touristy the place is. Accepted cache or Zelle. Card is also possible, he will ask next food track to ccept payment.
Tahini, vegetables, pita, falafel.
Pros: First food cart wit "VEGAN" on it!!!, Cuality/price is good for such busy place, A lot of calories for busy day
Cons: Limited hours, Only one pita (TT), Only fork. Tahini is so yumy and I can't catch it

Sam’s is a blessing - Edit
If you grew up eating chicken over rice at halal carts in the city only to go vegan later in life you’ve experienced the extreme disappointment that comes with ordering falafel over rice without white sauce. It’s a tragedy and a reason never to visit a halal cart again. Not at Sam’s. Here the falafel is king and the platter is a shrine to the balls of chickpea. The sides and sauces all pack a punch of flavor and keep you coming back for more. The guys who work the cart are really sweet too. These falafels occupy a place in my heart.

Lives up to the hype! - Edit
Had heard Sam's had the best falafel in the city and finally got to try and it was indeed very good, I will definitely go again, the tahini sauce is what makes it I think! $7.00 for an over stuffed pita or $9.00 for the platter, they take cash or zelle only.

Cons: Just heads up doesn't take cards

Filling - Edit
It was curious to find that the only food truck that had a line in Zuccotti Park was this one. When I ate there I understood why: his falafel is delectable. They only have two options, Sandwiche or Combo Platter, they are practically the same, what changes is the size and presentation. I personally recommend the Platter Combo as it has more falafel. You can eat in the chairs available in the park.
Read moreThe only thing that would improve this food truck would be to reduce the use of plastic.
Pros: Savory, Fair price, Quick
Cons: Excess of plastic

Amazing value and delicious - Edit
So glad we pulled up Happy Cow for a suggestion while out site seeing . I eat street falafel lots when in NYC and this is the best! All vegan makes it even better. Huge portions. We had a combo and a sandwich. Could easily have split the combo making a sandwich with the combo stuff and leaving enough for the second person. That said, we both ate it all and loved every bite. Layered sauce was our favourite attention to detail but it’s all great. Highly recommend.

Great food, friendly service - Edit
We had both the falafel sandwich and the combo platter. Both were very tasty and filling. The owner is a master at making falafel balls and a very nice guy. The cart is in a park with some convenient picknick tables.

NYC’s best - Edit
The prices are great for the quality of food. It is about 5 for a falafel pita and it is worth it. All the flavors are there. You know this guy has been doing this for a long time.

Sam’s - Edit
One of my favorites in the area! The food is great and cheap. A bit more so on be fast food side so if you are looking for calorie light options this is not the spot. They sell falafel sandwiches ($5) and platters ($7). You can get drinks as well.
Read moreThe sign says 100% vegetarian but they have told me it’s 100% vegan (The white sauce is sesame based!)
Pros: 100% vegan, Fast, delicious, cheap
Cons: Limited choices

Best Falafel Cart in Lower Manhattan - Edit
Sam's, which is a food cart in Zucotti Park, is one of my go-to places to get lunch if I'm in the financial district. They sell basically only one thing: falafel, either in sandwiches or on platters, and they've learned their specialty well — it's amazingly good food. There's always a long line at lunch, but it moves fast, because there are usually three people manning the cart. The food is amazingly cheap, too. I happily go to Sam's even over getting lunch at "real" sit-down restaurants in the area because the food is so tasty.
Read moreThe sign on the cart says "100% Vegetarian", but so far as I can tell, everything is vegan. If they do sell something that isn't vegan, I haven't figured out what it might be.
Pros: Excellent food, Cheap, Fast
Cons: If you don't want falafel, it's all they sell.
