Absolutely delicious food in a gorgeous spot - Edit
Traditional vegetarian and vegan options you’ll find at most any Thai restaurant, just done very very well. The waiters made sure that I was okay with egg in my dish, implying that it could be easily excluded if I wished. Staff was super attentive and friendly, and their location on the Hudson River can’t be beat. While the interior is really really beautiful, you have to check out their patio overlooking the Hudson River, with boats and birds going by non-stop. Serene.

great vegan options!!! - Edit
the first time I ordered I tried the pad thai and it was good, not bad, not amazing either. The second time I went for the mock duck and oh man it was delicious! felt a bit grossed out at the beginning because it really looked like meat but after trying you can tell by the texture, and it was amazing!! the veggies on the side were very tasty as well, definitely gonna get more of this

Good food/atmosphere! - Edit
Sambal is right by the water in Irvington and the building/decor is very nice/upscale. There were marked vegan options on the menu and everything was good but a bit pricey. You can get vegan mock duck but they up-charge by six dollars, which is steep in my opinion. I think this is the perfect place to go for a date night or special family dinner and the atmosphere is lovely. We would definitely come back just probably not on a regular basis.
