Lofty Ambitions - Edit
After trying & enjoying Salvador's, we decided to give the Loft across the road a try. The entrance is around the back where there are also a couple of cute coffee shops. We shared the beetroot hummus with pitta, the bread was so fresh & good. I had the vegan bean burrito, a nice combination of fresh well cooked veggies, rice & beans, with just the right amount of heat. My girlfriend had Eat the Beets bowl which she loved & a ginger lemonade. As we were catching a train the next day we got a couple of sandwiches to go, the whole lot was under 200rmb. So today we ate the sandwiches, wow what amazing food, the tempeh Reuben on rosemary foccacia was outstanding as was the Hummus Tempeh Tempest. They are making amazing vegan food here, I'll be back for sure.
Read moreAfter 4 days in Dali we came back to Kunming so we went to Salvador's but just had the nachos then came over the road here and shared the Tempeh Fettucini, (it was actually spaghetti) it comes with toasted rosemary focaccia, it was really good. We ordered the same two sandwiches to take away for our flight home the next day.
