Terrific vegan options, great service and good wine choices. Our server, Shadyn, really knew the menu and was a delight.

An oasis in the desert - Edit
We were so pleasantly surprised to find delicious vegan options at Salud! Finding good vegan options in smaller towns is always a challenge. Salud! provides amazing vegan options, creative cocktails, an extensive wine list and contemporary decor all in one. The service is also outstanding. The vegan tamales are something we will go back for time and time again. Yum! Thank you to the creative caring owners of Salud!

I have gone here 4 times, and each time something is off. They discontinue things, or the menu isn’t exactly like it says it is. Each time leaving hungry. Why get rid of the vegan chocolate cake?

Quite Tragic - Edit
I was excited because this is such a cute place and on the menu, the veg options looked great. Fried artichokes were the best of what I tried, greasy but not to the point of being ruined. Mushroom “asada” tacos were edible but just barely. Not seasoned whatsoever and the mushrooms were old - they had that almost fishy mushroom gone bad aroma. Worst must be the cauliflower. Menu says it’s roasted with za’atar.. but there was no za’atar to be found and it was most certainly forgotten in the deep fryer for at least half an hour. Some florets were nearly black and not even seasoned with a little salt. I was inspired to write a review as I squeezed probably 1tbs of oil from each floret. I HATE to waste food but this entire cauliflower might end up in the trash. All of the people were very sweet but I ordered to-go near closing so I didn’t have an opportunity to say anything. Maybe I went while the new cook was training 😭😂 you’ve been warned….

Salud! Is great! - Edit
Visiting in laws in Las Cruces is definitely better now that I’ve found Salud! I’m vegetarian but love when I can find vegan food! I had mushroom tacos and the Salud salad. Next time I’ll try the vegan bowl. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The menu says many items can be vegan or vegetarian , which is a plus in Las Cruces! And there are numerous veg options on the menu.
