Great food, lovely staff - Edit
Everything here is vegan. Had the falafel bowl, cauliflower bowl, veg and kimchi wontons. All the food was super tasty, we didn’t have to wait too long, and the staff member serving us was very patient and answered all our questions. Prices were reasonable and all the packaging is fully recyclable. Would defo visit again.

Tasty fresh amazing food. - Edit
It’s located in the Victorian market opposite the train station. Serves mainly Middle Eastern/ Asian food. Was only here for the day but went there for lunch and came back for food to take on train home. The Ful Medames was so delicious! The freshness and lemon/ garlic flavour the the daba beans, chickpea and pickled veg was unreal. Best vegan food I’ve had in a while. They also did an amazing falafel wrap. Will have to visit Inverness again so I can go there to try other things in the menu. Staff are really friendly and helpful too.

Amazing lunch spot - Edit
I had a falafel wrap and spicy fries, they were both amazing. The wrap had loads of flavour and wasn't spicy. The fries were great and covered in spicy mayo.

Excellent Lunch; Highlight of Inverness - Edit
Our lunch at Salt & Fire was a highlight of our time in Inverness. Completely vegan café which makes ordering so much easier. Everything we tried was delicious and filling. Husband had empanadas, I had broccoli and cauliflower bowl and we shared an appetizer of Makdous with pita. We got the smaller appetizer size that was perfect to share with our lunch entrees. We were quite full, but in a good way. Highly recommend.

Delicious! - Edit
The food booth is located in a side wing inside the Victorian Market, some signs help finding it better, as it is not in the main square with all the other food places.

We ate here for lunch and the food was absolutely amazing. We got aix of all their dishes and it was so tasty, but the standout dishes for us were the Kimchi Wontons and the Eatch!

Best wontons EVER. Kibbeh also excellent. - Edit
We were in Inverness 2 days and ate here both of them. The wontons were my favorite wontons ever, the kibbeh was excellent as well, if I were going back tomorrow I’d try the poke bowl and fries next. (On a fellow customers recommendation)

Tasty variety! - Edit
Got the chive and leek wontons which were delicious! Also got the cauliflower bowl which was yummy. My only complain would be that the bowl was lined with the flat bread and it would have been easier to eat with it on the side.

Delicious munch! - Edit
I just finished my first ever order from this place. 8 kimchi wontons and togarashi fries. What an absolute treat. I have heard nothing but great things about this place and today I decided to go. And I wasn’t let down. I haven’t enjoyed a takeaway since going plant based but it felt good being able to eat out knowing this entire place was cruelty free. The food was delicious. The wontons were so flavourful. I’ve never eaten any like that before. I love kimchi and these were so good. Crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside. Didn’t even need soy sauce (which I normally have with wontons) with it as it had enough flavour. And the loaded fries were tasty too. They weren’t just plain fries with toppings….the fries had some sort of delicious seasoning on them and then they were topped with sauce and other bits. Honestly I’m very glad I went here today. The lady who served me (Lara) was so lovely and when I asked what she recommended, she said exactly what I fancied in that moment. My only wish is that I got more food. Very reasonable prices too. £9 altogether for me today. Definitely worth it in my opinion. I’m so glad I can eat out again. It’s been so long and I’ll definitely be back to this place. Although I love cooking since going plant based, it’s nice to let someone else cook. And knowing no one was killed for a meal makes it that much more enjoyable. Thank you Salt and Fire!! Food and service was 10/10.
Read moreOne thing I wish I did was take a picture of my meal before devouring it. The presentation was lovely. It was inhaled in a couple of minutes.
