Nice selection of vegan options - Edit
Vegan options are clearly marked on the menu, as are the vegan friendly wines. Really enjoyed our family meal & the place had a nice buzz to it so I will def go back again.

Fab wee place. - Edit
Rocked up here after arriving late in Penrith. Staff were lovely, and vegan options were clearly labeled. Padron peppers and refried beans were delicious.

Great vegan menu - Edit
Lots to choose from, separate menu and very friendly, helpful staff. Very generous portions so they boxed up the extra food we couldn’t finish.

Great vegan menu, delicious food! - Edit
Visited here as a birthday treat with friends. The vegan menu was really great, lots of options to choose from including dessert. I ordered a burrito with jackfruit and chimichuri, with a side of potato wedges, and it was sooo yummy! I also ordered a garlic bread with vegan cheese which was delicious, and churros for dessert which were equally amazing. Will definitely come here again!

Not terrible - Edit
I really like Mexican and so I came to Salsa. I couldn't have my first option for the burrito as they had no jackfruit and so I chose the vegetable fajita. When the ingredients came to the table, the cheese was sus. I did state I was vegan whilst ordering and so rather than ask the waiter (who may I add was friendly) I asked my friends if they know of any easy ways to tell vegan 'cheese' apart. They were not much help and so I tried a small amount. It was dairy unfortunately. Dessert was much better!

Really tasty food and great to have plenty of options on a separate vegan menu.

Solid Mexican Food - Edit
By solid, we don’t mean that it was unusually hard in consistency - we mean it was exactly what we were hoping for.
Read moreWe both love Mexican food so we were really excited that they had an entire vegan menu for those of us who have pitched our tents on the moral high ground 😂.
As usual, we couldn’t decide on starters so we went for the sharing platter (minus the tequila shots because tequila makes my taste buds cry). It was all really tasty - the padron peppers were particularly good.
We then had burritos and fajitas for mains and we were not disappointed! There’s something so exciting about hearing the sizzle of the fajitas as they’re brought to the table and I’m pretty sure that Tom had food envy (not that he’d admit it). They both came with a side and we both went for chilli cheese wedges. It was a lot of food. A lot.
Still, I wanted to try vegan churros so we got some to take away.
Overall, we really enjoyed our Mexican food experience and if we lived in the area, we’d definitely be returning.

Had a lovely dinner here. Everything made vegan as requested. No idea what vegan cheese was used on the nachos, but worth a visit just for that! Lovely food and service!

A good variety of vegan and veggie dishes. Staff are really helpful and are happy to substitute or make things above and beyond the vegan options on offer.
