Stopped here to escape rain on my way to seeing Galata Tower, and am thrilled I found this place. The first good sign was alternative milk options on the coffee menu - almond and coconut. The menu has many clearly labeled vegetarian options. The falafel and hummus is vegan without any modification. The texture of the falafel was perfect - crispy outside, but soft and still moist inside. There are pickled vegetables that pair wonderfully. My husband ordered house-made pasta dish, which is not vegan - although some options are vegetarian.
Read moreThe ambiance was also lovely - French Cafe music, warm wood paneling, vintage mirrors, and warm lighting. This would make a great date spot. Staff was incredibly helpful as well. Incredibly well kept WCs (not gendered) was a bonus.
Pros: Cool cafe vibe, Alternative milks, Best meal I had while in Istanbul
