Got a pistachio cruffin and matcha. I’m going to say that cruffin was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten in my life!

Great Bakery - Edit
Beautiful cafe in the heart of the city with delicious food. I was super excited to try some vegan sweets in Amsterdam and I loved them. The Almond and Pistachio Croissant was to die for.

A must try in Amsterdam (you can get addicted though) - Edit
I came here two days in a row forcing my family to order a variety of pastries so I could try as much as possible and everything is excellent. Everything is phenomenal!
Read moreSpecial mention for the pistachio cruffin which is their bestseller, the dough is halfway between a brioche and a croissant.
The drinks are all well made and the matcha was great. I recommend coming early in the morning!

Vegan pastries and coffee! - Edit
I had a plant-based cinnamon roll, double-chocolate chip cookie and an iced coffee. All delicious. The cinnamon roll wasn’t too heavy or sweet. The cookie was outstanding - even at room temperature the chocolate chip was still gooey! Yum! Will be back!

Delicious!! - Edit
Finally an amazing all vegan bakery! Lots of options (mostly sweet, some savory) of pastries and cakes with delicious drinks like matcha, chai latte, coffee and tea. It is quite small so it doesn’t seat a lot of people but it’s worth the wait or just get take away
Read moreEdit: I ordered some to take away as they all looked too delicious to pass. Had the cinnamon roll (it had cardamom and it’s quite a strong taste) the almond croissant (was so good we didn’t even have time to take a picture) another chocolate babka and, the best one of all even a day later, the pistachio cronut (a MUST try!)
Another edit: I went again needing to have the pistachio cronut but unfortunately they had run out. So I had a pear cake and a chocolate hazelnut cookie that were both delicious!

Extravagant pastries - Edit
They were the first pastries I tried in Amsterdam and it was heavenly. They were a bit too sweet for my taste but still absolutely delicious. The pistachio cruffin was impossible to eat without getting the filling all over my fingers but it was worth it.

Soooooo good - Edit
This is all mouth watering and delicious would 10/10 recommend. There’s a small seating area inside and you can also sit in one of the seats outside with nice weather. It’s all baked fresh in their own bakery which you can look into from the shop. And everything is vegan!!!

Popular vegan bakery - Edit
Popular vegan bakery with lots of tasty baked goods, cakes, coffees etc. Would definitely recommend going by and trying out a few things. It’s a bit of a hipster-place, not a problem, because the food is so good, but it means there’s almost always a line. For equally amazing baked goods, try Margo’s (just a few minutes away). Or do as we do, and go to both (croissants at Margo’s, a savory cake at Saint Jeans)

Cons: Expensive, yes, Often a long line

What a beautiful sight! A queue out the door of people waiting to buy plant-based pastries! We had the pistachio cruffin and a pain au chocolat. Frankly, they were the best pastries I've ever had.

Well deserved popularity. - Edit
The food is soooo incredibly good. Crispy, flaky, and perfectly chewy pastries. Oh so moreish. Forget the knife and fork provided and your decorum and pick it up with your hands.
Read moreDecor seems incongruous to the food on offer... super lovely staff and quite reasonably priced for the exceptional quality.
Those stairs are for sure a health hazard!

Vegan Pastry Heaven - Edit
This tiny cafe came highly recommended, and it exceeded my expectations. Got the pistachio cruffin, cinnamon roll, regular croissant, and almond croissant. Wow! I sample a lot of pastries when I travel, and these are the best I've had.👌🏾 Be ready to queue and eat on the sidewalk as there is minimal seating.

Do not miss the coffee and pastries in Saint-Jean. Really popular hip spot, always has queues out the door but worth the short wait. I visit every time I am in town and I’m working my way through the pastries, everything 10/10, coffee is also outstanding.

The queues are totally understandable - Edit
This is one of the best pastry shops I've been to in the nearly 100 countries I've visited. The hype is completely warranted. Everything they make here is quality and they don't skimp on ingredients or fillings: the pistachio butter oozes from the cruffin. My other favorite pastry is the pesto, olive, cheese, and sunflower seeds. It is perfection. Worth queuing up for.

Most crunchy croissants😍 - Edit
Saint Jean has the crunchiest and tastiest (chocolate) croissants!🥐 You can find this super hip vegan bakery and coffee shop with vegan sandwiches and pastries on the Lindengracht in Amsterdam.
Read moreI ordered the Chocolate & hazelnut babka brioche, Chocolate croissant and Babka apple? (not sure).
The croissants here are so tasty and crunchy and the interior is nice and hip.
I do think it’s quite pricey. You pay about €3-€4 for a croissant or pastry. There is also not much room to sit, so when it is busy it is not so comfy, but you can also take your sandwiches with you!
It's worth the try! I also don't know if I've eaten such a delicious vegan chocolate croissant in my three-year vegan time, so that says something.😋
