Serves meat, vegan options available. Small Vietnamese food restaurant. The end of the menu has a vegetarian section with around 6 or so dishes (all vegan suitable). Waitstaff can explain about the ingredients and which dishes contain fish sauce, etc. Open Tue-Sat 11:00am-8:30pm.

Great food!

Had the BBG Tofu vermicelli dish with the spice level BURN OUT. This did not disappoint! The tofu was so good and the small salad on the side was also good! Small little place with limited staff.

Tasty tofu

There is no separate vegetarian section on the menu, but it’s easy to find tofu dishes. Our server said all the tofu dishes are vegan but I would double check. I got the BBQ tofu vermicelli noodles it was DELICIOUS the tofu was cooked perfectly. Very small inside and closed 2-4pm daily

Very good but expensive for tofu dishes

We got the tofu spring rolls for an appetizer, and the Thai basil stir fry with tofu, and the barbecue tofu vermicelli noodles. Everything was delicious. But the tofu dishes are all more expensive than the seafood, chicken, pork dishes, which made no sense at all to me. It was very cute and cozy inside, and I appreciated the wide variety of options in a very not vegan friendly town.

vegan special

i happened to be walking past and the vegan special caught my eye. it was a big portion, and the ham was really good, but not worth almost $18. i got there at 1:40 and since they close at 2 they didn’t allow seated dining. takeout only.

Pros: good portion size , delicious ham

Cons: expensive , closes at 2pm

Great find

Items marked as vegetarian. However, the waitress (who is a vegetarian), goes over everything that can be made vegan. 3 of us all ordered something different, and shared. It was all very good!!! The portions were huge, so we had lunch the next day as well. Highly recommend. Pictures is the Thai basil with tofu & the Spicy Curry Noodles with tofu (made not too spicy), not pictured bbq tofu.

Reasonable option in a town with limited options

This restaurant seems to have changed ownership a few times. At my recent visit the food was okay; not great and not awful. Given the limited options available on the Island for vegetarians and vegan this spot is a reasonable option. My primary criticism (here and in many other places) is that the food it too oily.

Our first stop on arrival & so worth it!

We were wondering if we'd have any good options on the Island & we're stoked about the reviews here. We ordered vegan fried rice & a spicy rice noodles with veg, cabbage etc... It was excellent! Very flavorful, huge portions & choked full of nice veggies

Pros: Excellent choices, huge portions

Cons: None

Great vegan options

This sandwich is my favorite meal on the island. The French bread is super fluffy and the staff confirmed the veggie ham was vegan. Just ask for no mayo or ask if they have a vegan mayo option (I wasn’t sure so I just asked for none). It was $7 which was reasonable for a restaurant. Some stuff was on a specials menu I think so just double check they still have this. They also have some great vegan sides and noodle dishes as well as a fried rice you can get without egg. Overall I would for sure eat here again.

Pros: Solid vegan options (just ask to make sure), Affordable. My friend’s meals were less than $12

Popular spot for everyone

Busy little restaurant with food for everyone on Main Street. We got the tofu fried rice with no egg and spicy curry noodles...they were spicy! A must for vegans in the area

Pros: Knowledgable waitress

Tasty tofu

We split tofu fried rice (no egg) and stir fried broccoli with tofu. Both very tasty. Also soft tofu spring rolls which had rice noodles and delicious peanut sauce. Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

Vegan Vietnamese in Chincoteague

Saigon Village is a wonderful oasis in Chincoteague. Saigon Village is conveniently located on Main Street. We walked from our hotel. I don't think they have a parking lot, but there is some street parking. The restaurant is in a cute, white, octagonal building with a little courtyard in front. There are about eight tables inside. They filled up pretty quickly on a pre-season weekend, so consider calling ahead. They also do carry out.
I ordered the tofu in spicy curry with broccoli, snap peas, and carrots. The curry was mildly spicy. The spices tasted like they came from a jar, but it was still tasty. The vegetables were perfectly cooked. The tofu was deep fried. It came with a side of rice. My omni husband was happy with his food as well.

Pros: knowledgable staff, peaceful, nice option in seafood-saturated town
