Great when they get the orders right

We’ve been coming here since the dawn of time, since there has never been a purely veg restaurant in Evergreen and Saigon Landing has always been one of the most veg-friendly places in town. The servers are cheerful. There are many veg dishes that can be made vegan, and they’re all delicious.

Headsup, though: they have a mixed success rate with correctly veganizing orders, and they can be especially unreliable when it comes to takeout orders, so always inspect your takeout orders carefully before leaving the restaurant. The two most common mistakes are giving fish sauce when peanut sauce was requested (so be sure to check right away), and giving white rice when brown was requested.

Recommended:
* vegetable medley in bean sauce
* Tofu with lemongrass
* vegetable and tofu crispy crepe (a bit like a vegan omelette) - order with peanut sauce instead of fish sauce
* crispy spring rolls - order them with peanut sauce instead of fish sauce
* fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce
* vegetable mushu (order without egg)
* crispy roll noodle bowl

In addition to a big dining room, there’s also outdoor seating on a lovely patio when the weather is nice. There’s a parking lot about 50 steps up the hill from the restaurant.

SO GOOD!

Their menu has so many vegan options clearly labeled, as well as gluten free!
Kung Pao Tofu is really good and so is the hot and sour soup. I plan to try the pho next time!

Pros: Lots of clearly labeled vegan options

Cons: A little pricey

Best vegan food in downtown evergreen!

Their online ordering menu specifies which items are vegan and which can be made vegan. Everything I've tried here has been delicious and the staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable about vegan dishes! Prices are just a bit higher than what you'd find down in the city though.

Pros: Vegan appetizers

Cons: Physical menu doesn't specify vegan
