New owners! Tons of vegan/GF options

Same owners as Monse's Pupuseria over on the westside of town - updated menu and revamped inside! Very focused on GF and local sourcing.
Everything has a vegan option. The bahn mi sandwich is made on a baguette from a bakery just down the road and the tofu version will blow your mind. Portobello mushrooms available for dishes are deliciously marinated. Nice portions. "Best lo mein" my spouse (omnivore) has "ever had."
Only gripe is that the staff are young and inexperienced and not as well versed in menu options - same situation as over at Monse's. The owner seems to always be there and he's on top of everything though so just ask for help. I've never gotten anything non-vegan by mistake.

Be careful veggies and vegans

Most importantly, the vegetarian menu isn’t actually vegetarian. The veggie options are prepared with chicken broth. And the menu claims they are vegetarian friendly. Pretty messed up, I think. The waiter was upfront about it, but still. Secondly, the vegetarian menu comes with a veggie egg roll and they won’t replace it with a spring roll that I thought might be vegan. I meant to ask, but I didn’t get that far because it was a hard no on the substitution. We ended up eating somewhere else

Cons: Menu is deceptive, No vegan options, No vegetarian options
