Cute and has options

I’ve eaten here a few times because they have vegan and omni options when I’m with friends. I love pho and they do scratch the itch with good broth and tons of veggies/toppings. My one complaint is the same as the other reviewer, all vegan dishes come with a beyond burger. There are just so many better options for vegan protein in pho than a cut up beyond burger patty.

Cute spot

The cocktails are delicious! They have spinoffs of originals (e.g. “Jasmine Old Fashioned”) and great original cocktails. We loved the Silly Billy and Miss Saigon. The ambiance is super cute, the place was packed which is a good sign. They had several vegan options, clearly marked. I tried the Beyond Papaya and Beyond Pho. I want to come back to try the tofu tacos and Bahn Mi. The Papaya Salad itself was really good, but maybe I’d suggest getting just the salad without the “Beyond” (if you do, make sure you specify vegan because the regular one has fish sauce). My only disappointment is that with so many Beyond products out there now, including a delicious Beyond steak, the restaurant was only using the Beyond burger patties. Both the Pho and the salad came with cut up pieces of a grilled Beyond burger. Although I eat the burger often, it didn’t really make sense in the context of these dishes. I feel like they could’ve tried harder. Or use tofu instead (if unable to provide Beyond steak). Anyway, points for trying and for having a clearly labeled vegan section of the menu. The pho was okay, I liked the broth. Would’ve liked it more without the burger flavor taking over. I’m willing to try other things on the menu though because I loved their vibe.
