Would give 5 stars if I could - Edit
Very knowledgeable staff. Our waiter, Rocky, was able to special order several things vegan. We got Aloo Gobi, Naram Garam and Samosa Chaat for an appetizer. Incredible food and service.

Delicious Indian Food - Edit
Lots of of vegan options- on the vegetarian menu section, make sure to ask the waiter which dishes can be made vegan- they will mark that on the order so no butter or ghee will be added. I love the chickpea, eggplant, and cauliflower dishes..they are all delicious and come in very generous portions. The vegetarian samosa appetizer is spectacular, too. If you want a vegan bread, the tandoori roti is vegan- just ask the waiter to not add butter to it. Highly recommend this great local restaurant! I love the Mango Tango cocktail, too, which is mango puree with coconut rum.

Heavenly aroma - Edit
Such a Heavenly aroma wafted into our nostrils the moment we stepped out of the car. We couldn’t wait to walk inside and order everything.

Delicious Delivery - Edit
I 1000% recommend this restaurant… if you’re picking up or getting delivery. The food is wonderful, flavorful. There are several vegan appetizers, entrees, and breads. Staff can easily pick out which are appropriate or otherwise ask the kitchen for you. Cocktails are quite good, as well! Unfortunately, every time I’ve dined in, the service has been terrible. Forgotten drinks, appetizers, no refills, no check ins. Another criticism is that they refuse to make a vegan aloo palak (but if you DoorDash, this item can be ordered from Vegan Bowl Factory, which is fulfilled by Sahib).

Pros: Vegan options, Knowledgeable staff
Cons: Expensive, Poor service dining in

An Oasis for Vegans and Vegetarians - Edit
Having lived in India, can say from experience that this is the real deal. Great family operation, and very helpful and knowledgeable about vegan and vegetarian choices and offerings. If you are coming to the mountains of TN, well worth a visit here for lunch or dinner. Nice atmosphere and great food. This is your very best option in the Tri-cities area! They'll even make you a vegan rice pudding dessert if you call ahead by 30 minutes. 😄

Excellent, flavorful food. - Edit
The staff was VERY accommodating to my fiancé and I. There are some options on the vegetarian menu that are vegan, and he said most of the other items on the vegetarian menu can be made vegan by using coconut milk. There are also breads and appetizers that are vegan. Just specify and your waiter/waitress will be able to help out!

Food is amazing and super flavorful but service is terrible! - Edit
The food is very tasty and they have a nice selection of vegetarian meals that can easily be made vegan. However, although their staff is friendly and is knowledgeable about the vegan diet, every single time we’ve gone the service was terrible!! Forgotten drinks..server kept disappearing..if you go, go through the drive out and save time!!

Pricing high for vegetarian/vegan items - Edit
How is it that restaurants feel they can charge the same amount for a veg/vegan entree - when there's no meat which is where the majority of the food cost comes in. Sahib has great tasting Indian food, but I won't deal with the vegan price gouging, and there's no way to ensure that they aren't using ghee or anything premade with dairy or meat. It's just not worth it to me.
