Cool, casual, cafe-style restaurant but with 5* food & service! While staying in nearby Dorking, we went for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner, and thanks to Sabi & Hamza, we had the best evening! I had the peanut aubergine curry, he had lasagne. Followed by a slice of lemon & lavender cake for me, and chocolate cake for him. SO GOOD!!!
Read moreAnd so glad we found this place (Happy Cow strikes again!). They had just introduced the Moving Mountains burger to their menu, so hopefully lots more people will be encouraged to go, and then check out everything else they have to offer.

Just what we needed - Edit
For various reasons we had a long wait before a flight at Gatwick and so decided to drop into Crawley for breakfast/brunch and Sage was just perfect. Really lovely lady serving us, good fresh and filling food and at a reasonable price. The cafe is clean and neat with a good amount of space. It was empty when we first arrived but as lunch approached it started to fill, and you can see why. Great options. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

Just discovered we have a vegan cafe in Crawley and visited twice this weekend! Dinner and lunch were both delicious, we tried the aubergine curry, koftas, guacamole and hummus and three different cakes! All superb 😋😋😋

I love this place, great selection of food from junk food to healthy meals to pre-prepared sandwiches and takeaway lunch to order. And dont forget the cakes. Eveything is always perfect, friendly staff and a clean, stylish restaurant.

Oh My Gosh! Never have I been so overwhelmed by choice!! Excellent menu to suit all tastes. In the end I opted for the lasagne. My fear of awful vegan cheese was unfounded - it was perfect. My friend had the beetroot and lentil burger which was yum too. And we shared 2 huge pieces of cake.

Had a nice lunchtime chickpea burger, cauliflower and "cheese" soup pot of tea and the breakfast wrap which was much nicer and deceptively filling. The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities were immaculately clean. There's booths set away from the main seating area which would be good for a bit more of an intimate dining experience. Over all enjoyable and pleasant.

Nice clean decor, friendly staff, great selection of food, drinks and desserts/cakes. I had the chickpea burger which was lovely, accompanied with chips (which were great). The curry ketchup is also amazing. I also had a vanilla/salted caramel sponge cupcake and it was incredible and the raspberry Bakewell which was delicious. Decent value as well. Very impressed.

This vegan restaurant is very good. The vegland breakfast includes homemade baked beans and is delicious. Has a good choice on the menu and great selection of cakes. Often have specials. The staff are so friendly and the ambiance is great. So happy to have such a great local vegan restaurant.

Such a lovely place, the staff are so friendly and the service is great! The food is delicious! We had the special kofte on a flatbread with a yoghurt garlic & mint dip, it was sensational! Would recommend to everyone vegan and non vegan!

Fabulous Vegan Cafe - Edit
I was in the West Sussex area a couple of weekends ago and searched on here for local vegan eateries. Sage came up and I was delighted to have found it. I went along with my sister who is a vegetarian. We both loved it and the service was superb. The decor is really nice and the menu is quite extensive...something to cover most tastes. Very friendly staff and speedy service. Great value too. We enjoyed it so much we went back for breakfast the following morning. Would highly recommend.

Really enjoyed the vegan kofte kebab from the specials. The portion was generous so I had to take cake away to eat later - a candid orange cake which had a lovely light moist sponge.

Working my way through the menu, so far everything I’ve had is delicious and tastes freshly made. Had a lovely breakfast, the lasagne is wonderful, and if I’m to full for a cake, I always take one home! The staff are very friendly and happy to make any adjustments, we will be regulars!

A lovely addition to the vegan scene in Crawley, well worth the trip from Horsham. Went in for Saturday dinner, there was a great selection of food, liked by both myself (vegan) and my husband (non-vegan).

If your driving in, there is parking outside depending on time of day.

Read moreThere's plenty to choose from on the menu. I went for the curry, and a strawberry milkshake, and mum went for the lasagne with salad and chips, and an orange juice. The milkshake was really lovely, and the curry was nice, although not the best I've had. I tried mum's lasagne, and that was really nice, and I had to help her with the chips!
We both left stuffed, so I took some cake home. The brownie was a little dry (much berry with ice cream, which I think you can have in the cafe!), but the coconut raspberry cake was divine!
We'll both definitely be returning!

This is a completely vegan cafe and restaurant, selling both savoury and sweet items. It is family run by a lovely local family with Mediterranean influence. The actual seating area is lovely and every last detail has been completed with care. Lovely space to be in. The food is amazing, good variety of both hot and cold options. There's smoothies and a bakery counter too.
