A few truly vegan dishes in mediterranean atmosphere - Edit
I found this place when I had almost given up to find anything vegan in this area in a restaurant atmosphere, other than breakfast/cafe or asiatic options.
Read moreI wanted it listed as I checked many places before finding it and the menu does have a few options. The owner was receptive to improvements (for ex. get vegan mayo) and mentioned he was adding one more dish to their menu on jan 2024.
It's trendy, well decorated and the burger I had was good. Obviously, it needs a lot more so that vegans could have options (and a full meal including starter and dessert) but going to such places and ordering more and more vegan will make owners understand they have to improve their offer.
This is how I rate
For mainstream meat/fish serving restaurants, beside my experience:
I only give the maximun 4 star if there is a real vegan menu = more than one option for a full vegan meal, including starter, main course & dessert.
-> to get 3 star, I want to see more than one truly vegan protein-including dish on the menu (ie: not pasta with tomato sauce), preferably something else than just a vegan burger and a salad. (and it has to be good, of course).
Reminder: Happy Cow only gives 5 stars ratings to vegan and vegetarian restaurants.
Pros: A few truly vegan option, Nice decoration and vibe
Cons: Needs to add vegan options for starters & dessert
