Incredible brunch food - Edit
I've been to this place many times and it never misses! There's a seasonal menu with incredible waffles and lots of other brunch options. A great place for vegans and non vegans alike. Also a great variety of drinks, with really good coffee, chai lattes, and hot chocolate. Cannot recommend more!

I could order almost anything! - Edit
They told me they could make almost anything on the menu gluten free, so I had lots of options! I ended up ordering the Benedict, which they put on their gluten free waffle vs toast. I enjoyed it and would love to try the Tuscan beans as well next time! I got a gluten free chocolate brownie as well!

Lovely Healthy Food - Edit
I love this place! They have tofu "eggs" and delicious coffee, sourdough toast and cakes. I would say the brunch food is why I go more than the cakes, but these are still delicious!! Highly recommended!

Great food but a bit expensive - Edit
The "poached egg" royale made from tofu was amazing. Didn't have high hopes but it blew us away. The korean burger was also very tasty. Carrot cake and babka were also amazing.

If your ho(s)tel in Exeter has only very limited options for breakfast, Sacred Grounds is there for you. Amazing breakfast options, all 100% plant-based.

Sacred Grounds - Edit
Visiting Exeter I could not miss this place out and not try the vegan poached egg! It’s not everyday you see that on the menu, so I went with the Sacred Benedict and it was delicious. The vegan poached egg reminded me of how I remembered it tasting before I went vegan and the texture was spot on. The coffee was really good quality too. This place does get busy and there was no space to sit inside. It is in a pretty covered arcade though that has tables and chairs to sit at, but it does get very chilly in winter. Book a table or bring a decent coat! Venue is dog friendly. Staff were lovely and welcoming. 100% will return some day.

Vegan heaven in Exeter - Edit
Highly recommended for freshly prepared, inventive, vegan brunches and lunches. The vegan 'eggs' are amazing. Friendly staff, great food, they cater excellently for gluten free diets too. Gluten free savoury waffles are legendary. Love this place.

El personal es súper amable… está ubicado como en un centro comercial con tiendas muy cuquis. La comida está riquísima. He ido dos veces en mi estancia en Exeter y aunque la tostada Benedict está riquísima, me encantó la sopa también!

Meticulous attention to serving delicious and attractive vegan food. - Edit
The venue was very pleasant with spacious tables outside the main restaurant. Everything we tried was excellent including the vegan egg benedict, the savoury waffles, chai latte and "cheery cherry" smoothie.

The price was perfectly reasonable for an excellent and enjoyable meal with generous portions.

Good atmosphere, beautiful presentation, ok flavours - Edit
I had the eggs benedict and a sea salt chocolate chip cookie. The atmosphere in there was great and I got a decent amount of admin work done while there but I found the benedict to be lacking in flavour, though I seem to be the odd one out.
