Tip Top Thai - Edit
Sabai Thai is close to the Pavillion gardens and just off the main road, conveniently placed for buses and shopping. Vegan options abound and the main. problem is simply making your choices. We feasted on everything vegan; from crackers, vegetable tempura and coconut rice to green curry, drunken noodles and jasmine tea. We were absolutely stuffed full but had we not been, then the chocolate cheesecake would have been our next victim. Portions were generous and pricing moderate. We hadn’t booked but the staff happily found a table for the 3 of us. A good restaurant providing your staple Thai food.

Amazing Thai Food with plentiful Vegan Options. - Edit
Sabai Thai isn't fully Vegan so I am unable to give them 5 stars... but man do they deserve it. The food is delicious... like really REALLY great, I can say I've tasted better Thai food. All the curries have the options of being prepared with mixed vegetables, tofu and vegan 'chicken' plus there are many other vegan options on the menu. The restaurant is cosy and atmospheric and in the shadow of Brighton Pavilion. If you like Thai food you can't go wrong.

Reduced Vegan Options - Edit
Used to visit this place every time we visited Brighton. However they have taken their eye off the ball with the vegan options - they generally no longer have vegan meat alternatives and wines are no longer clearly vegan (we were served a different wine than the one advertised on our last visit). I hope they return to their former glory as this used to be my favourite Thai place in the UK and my favourite restaurant in Brighton.

Good choice - Edit
Cosy interior, good choices for vegans. Although tempura was heavy, more like a batter than tempura, still tasty. Waiting staff really helpful so steered us to what was best. I would reccomend

Tasty - Edit
My husband a meat eater & myself ate here last night. Lovely tasty Vegan Pad Thai, I had the veg version as I'm not too keen on tofu. My husband ate chicken curry, he said it was delicious. Reasonably priced too!

Tasty Thai with vegan menu - Edit
As well as serving traditional Thai veggie dishes with veg or tofu, Sabai is now offering the choice of vBites "chicken" dishes too, and lists their Vegan or Vegan-Option dishes in a separate section in their menu, which seems like a pretty good effort for an omni restaurant!
Read moreWe've eaten here a few times and always enjoyed flavourful food - the som tum salad is a favourite. Recently tried the vBites meaty pad thai which was delicious.
Presentation, service and the setting with a waterfall and comfy seating inside and out, all make this a really nice place to eat.
Pros: Tasty food, Vegan menu incl. vbites "chicken"
Cons: Serves meat and fish
