Very good Vegetation Pho - Edit
We Really enjoyed our stay at S Vietnamese Cuisine. There is an extra page for vegetarian options like Pho, fried rice and bahnmi. One of the best vegetarian food places we visited in Kyoto.

Delicious vegan options available, plenty of choice including phô and mixed Plate. Fried tofu is also great! Really friendly staff and very chilled atmosphere. Speak great English as well as Japanese, really lovely food and very reasonably priced indeed. It's on the second floor but there is a lift as well as stairs so access is easy!

Great Tofu Vegtable stir fry! - Edit
A small place maybe 7 or 8 tables - it’s on the first floor so look out for the Vietnamese flag outside - enter via the lift or the spiral staircase to the first floor. It serves meat and fish but also has a separate vegetarian menu so it was perfect for our mixed group of veggies and meat eaters. The food was absolutely delicious all round - I ordered edamame beans and veg spring rolls to start then the tofu & vegetable stir-fry with rice. The stir fry had a lovely little kick without being ‘spicy’ which was perfect for me although I’m sure you could ask for more chilli if that’s what you prefer. The Asahi beer on tap was cheaper than the Vietnamese beer.

First off, the place is really nice, new and clean. The service was super lovely and attentive too! There is a separate menu with vegetarian dishes, some of which contain egg (but it's mentioned).
Read moreSome starters are also vegan by default (like cucumber salad and edamame). The pho was just right with the cold temperatures outside. Generous portion with lots of veggies and tofu, with a hint of spice 😊

Service was good, the waiter speaks English and is friendly. The last page of the menu contains vegetarian meals, everything was pretty straightforward

Food was okay. Got Pho with spring rolls set. Spring roll was nice, pho had tofu as a topping which was appreciated. The taste was okay, but nothing special

Excellent vegetarian Pho - Edit
They have a vegetarian menu with vegetarian versions of classic Vietnamese cuisine like Pho, Bahn MI, Spring Rolls, Fried Rice. Portions are small but food is delicious.

They use cubic tofu as a meat substitute and it was really tasty !
