20 curries that can be made vegan

This place has come light-years since I first visited in 2016. Now located in a large premises on the main road it's a really pleasant place to come and there are many vegan options.

The vegan choices aren't marked on the menu, but the staff speak fluent English and understand what vegan means. Of the 27 vegetarian curries on the menu, 20 of them (those without paneer) can all be made vegan, as well as five of the rices and two of the breads.

All vegetarian curries are 175 baht each, and with a rice (starting at 70 baht) are a full meal. Being on such a large premises there's little risk of not being able to get a table.

The best Indian food I've had in Thailand.

Best Indian food in town

Service is wonderful, they have a very extensive vegetarian menu. Truly some of the best Indian food I've ever had. They have moved across the highway from their former location on soi 94 and are very much open for business. Look for the big concrete dome that says pizza on it for some reason.

Well worth a visit. Food is excellent and is not very expensive. Staff and atmosphere are also great. Seating over 2 floors. Lots of vegan options.

Really good Indian food

Staff here speak English and understand veganism and able to advise on what is/could be made vegan, such as which breads. The food was really tasty- one of the best in SE Asia. The location and seating is nice- open air but covered

Excellent

We found this place by accident and oh boy, was it worth it! The waitress was wonderful, professional, lively and so clued up with veganism. I asked for naan and she told me I can’t have it because their naan is not vegan and instead she offered me another option. Really happy with the food! I did not take pictures in the beginning because my hunger got the best of me haha! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 169 baht for all the veg dishes. 149 for 3 x veg samosas!

Pros: Delicious food , Vegan options, Can make non vegan, vegan if you ask.

Nice food, ok price

We have ordered via foodpanda and had garlic naan, veggie curry and veggie pakora. The naan was very good, curry and pakora were also nice. For the three items we paid 310 THB.

We also went there for dinner and had delicious curry dishes with yellow rice and garlic naan. The veggie samosas are great. There could have been more mango chutney, it was very delicious.

Pros: Many vegan options

Tasty, fairly cheap, and good service

Excellent! Delicious food at cheap prices. 485 baht for 2 (large) appetisers, 2 mains of generous proportions, delicious garlic rice and spiced papadums. Next time we'll only order half for the two of us. Onion bhaji and pakora are fresh and delicious, and come in lots of 8 each. They are also gluten-free, made from gram flour (chickpea) and no wheat flour (we checked). Daal was rich and smooth. Okra with onions full of flavour with delicious gravy. The girls waiting were very helpful and polite, with good English, able to organise the food to be made vegan and to answer questions about ingredients. Even something as simple as garlic rice was delicious, with crispy cumin seeds. Loved it all. If anything it was quite oily, but not unexpected for this style of Indian. One of our best eats on this trip.

Pros: Helpful staff with very good English, Delicious food, Many options can be made vegan

Cons: Oily

Tasty and cheap

Staff is friendly and they made everything vegan and also with less oil when we asked. Good, tasty and relatively cheap indian food. The place seems popular but is bit far from the main town. Still definitely recommend to try!

Pros: Excellent food, Friendly staff

solid Indian, vegan options

Standard Indian veg dishes like dal, sag aloo etc. just ask for no cream - waitress understood. Get roti instead of naan. Veg pakora is good. Close to G hua hin hoy, easy to locate

our favorite restaurant in Hua Hin

More than year we come to S&S to have a good colorful tasty dinner. I love all veg dishes here, spicy or sweet, all type of naan. And lemon juice, of course.

Almost empty during the day, overloaded after 18:00, but not noisy. Everybody are friendly and happy here. Ask the personnel for advice, they are very helpfull.
