Fully vegan sourdough bakery. Previously operated as a home-based bakery since April 2024. Physical store soft launched 31st July 2024. Chef Matthias from Germany worked at various bakeries in Europe, including as head baker and recipe developer for Frea Bakery in Berlin. Sells cornetto / croissant with jam or cream, shokupan, cinnamon roll, cardamom bun, and more. Open Wed-Fri 10:00am-4:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:00am-3:00pm. Closed Mon-Tue.

When u thought vegan bakes are tasteless

Everything. If the vegan bakes are always this good. Why would you Wana choose to take milk n eggs from animals?

Best bake house in SG

Just try everything, I love the cardamom and cinnamon bun. Croissant 🥐 are heavenly too. 😋

Variety of sweet & savory options

The pistachio-filled croissant and cinnamon roll were nice, but not amazing. The focaccias were not as soft as I'm used to but still had a nice texture and were very tasty - perhaps a bit too salty though. The owner was very friendly and it seems like it's filling a vegan bakery gap in Singapore!

Excellent vegan pastries

Very cute cosy little bakery with super affordable yet good coffee! I had the pizzas and some pastries which were great. Will definitely come back to eat the rest

Best bakery everrr

Lovely croissant, pizza, cardamom buns. The breads are flaky, light, beautifully curated. Any croissant or pizza bread cannot get better than this

Pros: Croissant flaky and light, Pizza beautiful crispy bread and tasty toppings , Dough crisp chips, lovely garlicy genius

definitely schedule it into your singapore adventures

treats are excellent and the owner is friendly. my favorites so far: cream filled croissant, cardamom bun, and those super crunchy crackers. i'll be back to try the pizza and other items. don't forget to bring a reusable container!

Pros: all vegan, close to MRT, fresh/artisan/delicious

Vegan Sourdough Bakery

Fully vegan bakery newly opened on 31st Jul 2024! Previously operating as a home-based business launched in Apr 2024, it received great response and a physical store was born. The friendly Chef Matthias from Germany used to work at various bakeries in Europe, including as head baker and recipe developer for Frea Bakery in Berlin. The bakes at Rya Bakehouse feature sourdough, ranging from flaky croissants filled with jam or cream, cardamom buns to pull apart, pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls, whole loaves, and more. On 24th Aug 2024, savoury items such as pizza slices topped with eggplant, potato, and mushrooms were also introduced. Bought a bunch of freshly baked items which I thoroughly enjoyed! Looking forward to returning and trying out more pastries. Do note that there aren’t really seats for dining-in as it’s more of a takeaway concept, except for a small 2-seater table outdoors. Walking distance from Lavender or Bendemeer MRT; also near several other veg*n eateries such as Nature Cafe at Aperia Mall, Vegan Natural Bakery at ARC380, New Fut Kai, etc. Btw although there is now a brick and mortar store, the online store is still up and running, and Foresque Residences, 101 Petir Rd, S678272 in Bukit Panjang is still available as a pick-up location.

Best Croissant

Almost missed this place as it was tucked away in the corner but glad I found it!

Tried the plain croissant and cinnamon roll.

The croissants were very airy but also crisp on the outside, best croissants I ever had! So hard to find vegan croissants. The cinnamon rolls were not too sweet, but the bread is soft and not dense.

Overall, I would recommend 10/10.
