Slutty Rutty Butty

The Rutland Arms boasts an ever-changing, mega creative menu that never fails to impress. The kitchen team is always finding new ways to make delicious food while maintaining their beloved staples. However, the one downside is their horrible Trainspotting-style toilets, which detract from an otherwise fantastic dining experience.

Pros: Ever changing menu, Delicious food

Cons: Bathrooms are disgusting

Great food but unreliable

The food here is excellent, but I’ve been a couple of times and they’ve ran out of multiple things, so maybe go with a plan B in mind.

Best food in 7 days

I had been on the road with work for a week eating out and there are vegan chefs and chefs who just do some none meat things for the menu. This was amazing felt nourishing and clearly a chef who eats there own vegan food

Pros: Amazing taste and healthy , Friendly fun atmosphere , Lots of vegan options

Best place for a pub lunch

I've never had a bad meal at The Rutland - and they were serving vegan meals before it was cool.

Really lovely staff, this chill old man pub atmosphere welcomes all, including families with young kids and dogs.

There's action figures and fun signage across the space, a nice big beer garden and a space upstairs you can book. Definite recommend to reserve a space for lunch on a Sunday.

The menu (especially the specials, available on a blackboard by the bar) is a good mix of classic pub food and international dishes. They do a mean tofu.

This is also a great place to take omni friends and a much cheaper place to grab a pint/lunch before catching a train than anything else in the area.

One of my favourite places to eat in the whole of England
