Great location, beautiful building, good service.
Had a soya milk coffee.
Jury's out on whether the milk free carrot cake is also egg free based on some of the other reviews.
Friendly staff when I asked re vegan cake they told me that the carrot cake was milk free but had egg and knew what was vegan. Had the chocolate biscuit and drinks. Very handy for the bastillion and had great service
Traditional cakes by the Fisherman’s Bastion - Edit
The cakes are old-school Hungarian as the place is almost 200 years old. Surprisingly inexpensive, very cozy, and definitely worth the wait if there is a queue.
They offer plenty of coffee options some of which can be a dessert in itself.

No vegan options - Edit
La primera camarera nos dice que tienen varias opciones veganas. Al pedir, la segunda camarera dice que no hay opciones veganas. 🤷🏻♂️

Great location. Decent Carrot cake. - Edit
The carrot cake is the only vegan option. It’s not bad. But would only stop in if you’re in the area and need a place to take a break.
