Anniversary celebration

Rump and Wade came up as highly recommended for a local vegan afternoon tea and it didn't disappoint. The setting is lovely, loads of tea options to choose from (or other hot drinks), can add a glass of bubbles for an additional cost, and if you let them know of dietary preferences at time of booking it's all prepared for when you arrive.
Sandwiches varied from a cucumber sandwich to hummus with roasted veg. Even the vegan cheese with caramelised onion was lovely. Had a yummy pea soup. Scones were delicious - no coconut cream supplied despite menu but I wouldn't have had it anyway as I like my scones naked. Cake options were lovely but had to take a doggy bag as a lot.
Would prefer an afternoon tea with more savoury / less sweet but that's a personal preference and it was a treat in any case.
Will definitely go back to check out the vegan options on their brasserie menu.
