What a gem!

A beautiful spot by Loch Leven. We stopped for breakfast and had a vegan bacon roll, vegan homemade haggis roll, hot chocs with all the vegan extras and there is a selection of cakes and scones which are all vegan. The cafe is dog friendly and there is a ramp for wheelchair users to get up to it. Parking is £3 for the day or free if you're a member of RSPB.

Pros: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, Beautiful views, Delicious food

Cons: Nothing at all

Wonderful spot! Highly recommended.

What a lovely spot. Lovely walks and birds to see. Very peaceful. Parking is £3 for non members and free for members of RSPB. Cafe is lovely. Staff are so friendly and confirmed the baked goods were vegan, including the scones. We had a VLT (vegan bacon, lettuce and tomato) each and split a jammy coconut cake and an oaty ginger slice. Everything was very good. A good selection of Whole Earth sodas and hot drinks.

There was plenty of seating and I look forward to visiting again.

Great food in a beautiful setting

We stopped here for lunch on a day out, and we really loved it. All the cakes and most of the food options were vegan, and our food was really tasty. The staff were so lovely, and very knowledgeable about vegan options. The cafe itself is really nice, too.

Pros: So many vegan cakes!, Friendly staff, Beautiful location

All cakes are vegan!

A good selection of vegan options, and super friendly staff. They make their own veggie haggis which was tasty on a roll. All their cakes and traybakes are vegan, but are not labeled so. Both cakes we tried were amazing!

Great options

Every single cake/tray bake was vegan. They also had about 5 vegan mains to choose from (soups, bacon rolls, baked potatoes, pasta, haggis…) Staff were very knowledgeable about veganism and allergies and very helpful.

Pros: Good options , Helpful staff , Nice atmosphere

Delicious, simple food

If I could give this café 5 stars I would. What a lovely, friendly place. The main cook (Dougie) is now vegan. The soup is always vegan, as are most of the cakes. They make their own houmous, chilli sauce and pesto (all vegan) and source a lot of ingredients locally. Sandwiches, wraps, toasties etc. are all made to order, so really fresh.

Pros: Telescopes for bird watching over Loch Leven!

Cons: Can be a bit slow when busy...but telescopes!

Scones are amazing!

You have to ask what cakes are vegan. Baked potato with haggis was really good too. Definitely worth a visit.

let them eat cake

i was here for a quick stop and have to confess didnt eat. just though i had to add it after a chat with the chef, dougie a good vegan.
although serving meat, that is organic, dougie hads devloped a decent vegan menu. i would say half the cakes are vegan including the scones. there are a few mains but if you ask i'm sure he will sort you out. part of the food for life programme so very organic.
as a cafe it has an unbelievable setting as part of the rspb, a setiing just above loch leven with stunning views of the loch and the birdlife it supports.

a great option idf you are in the are, i will be back shortly for lunch,

Popped in had a few vegan cakes now all marked vegan.

Honestly deserves a visit. Half the cakes are vegan.

Pros: vegan chef, good options, cake

Cons: meat
