Delicious food, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. - Edit
We visited Royal India with a group of 4 and mentioned before ordering that all dishes should be vegan. The waiter took the order and mentioned again with each dish that it should be vegan. The starters came with 3 different dips and the Onion Bhaji with a salad garnish. Upon asking, it turned out that 2 of the 3 dips, as well as the salad sauce, were not vegan, which was very disappointing and not a good start. However, the waiter exchanged the dips and brought two vegan ones after pointing to it. The main courses were tasty and the portion sizes were sufficient. Unfortunately, we were not asked once during the visit if we wanted to order more drinks, and in general we were not paid any attention.

Great indian food - Edit
We sometimes order here. Our favorite is the Palak Kofta. Those are tasty vegetable balls with spinach, made with a nicely fried firm chick pea flour crust. They are served with a traditional gravy-like indian curry sauce. We really loved these kofta regarding consistency and flavor, a nice alternative to more usual indian curries.
Read moreWe also like the Navrattan Korma, a special indian curry with a sauce made of almonds and cashew nuts. With many fresh veggies, seasoned with a bit of garlic and ginger and served on rice, this was a perfect creamy contrast to the Palak Kofta.
There are many many dishes on the menu that can be made vegan. Slightly pricy though.
Pros: Many vegan options, Delicious sauces
Cons: A bit pricy
