Cosy and lots of choice

Cosy little cafe/restaurant with lots of vegan choices. The staff were really nice and accommodating too. Perfect stop for after a wee walk through Millport!

Good quality, and a few options.

There were a few options on the day I visited - a dal, veggie chilli and mac n’ cheese. The person who ran through the options with me seemed very knowledgeable.

I chose the dal and received a very hearty portion, with rice, garlic naan, mango chutney and spicy onions. There were a few dessert options too which we didn’t try as we were too full!

The food quality is great here, and the service is lovely. It’s a really nice place.

Nice little cafe with more choice than we thought

We came for a late lunch and since the other option on the Island was totally packed, we went tot he Round Island Cafe. And we were glad we did! It is a cosy little place which offers soya cappuccinos and a lot of vegan dishes, even different vegan burgers. We tried different burgers and they were good, Staff was friendly, we'd go again if we come back to Cumbrae.

Pros: A lot of choice for vegans , Friendly staff

Round Island Cafe Millport Cumbrae

Great to have Vegan options on the island. Enjoyed a three course dinner. All very tasty and well presented. Will visit again.

Vegan food on Cumbrae

The food is not really outstanding here but when you are on Great Cumbrae, this is probably the best you can get. They have a nice selection of foods and for about 7 pounds you can get a filling, very basic meal. The location of the place is great and the people working here are very friendly.

Pros: Vegan food on the island!, Friendly staff

Cons: Nothing outstanding

A nice surprise in Millport, on the wee Isle of Cumbrae

Really did not expect to find a placey offering any, let alone several, vegan options. I had the vegan vegetable pasta bake, which I think was een o today’s specials...very tasty, and friendly service. If you visit Cumbrae, please try to support this wee place.

Pros: Some vegan options, Good selection of smoothies, Great views out across the bay
