What a find superb ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

OMG what a find. Absolutely 10/10 from coffee to desert just divine. Will certainly be back, highly recommended 10 ⭐

You had me at mushroom

A modern industrial-style cafe in the heart of Lilydale with clearly labelled vegan options that take up about half the menu.

Had the seasonally available truffle, mushroom and vegan cheese toasted sandwich and have absolutely zero regrets.

Pros: Clearly labelled vegan options, Good coffee and vegan sweets, Truffles

Cons: Parking was tricky

With a section of the menu dedicated to vegan food you can be sure to find something to your liking. Whether a breakfast scramble tofu, adding on your extras like Haloumi & hash browns, or vegan sweets to a filling vegan cheese burger. You can count on RB to satisfy your tastebuds. #Veganuary

Pros: A full vegan section in the menu, Tofu scramble on the menu, Many vegan sweets

Cons: A little pricey, but a delicious and filling feed

Such a cute lil wholefoods shop and cafe

had a whole section of the menu dedicated to vegans and a variety of gf options 🥳🥳 #Veganuary

Pros: LOTS of vegan and gluten-free options, Cute dining area , Nice staff

Cons: Quite expensive , Chips are SMALL , not enough room in my belly

I’d give it 5 stars if I could

I’ve been here several times and always had good service, good coffee and delicious food. They have a separate vegan menu and they also sell local products like vegan feta and nice bread. Will be back again. The gnocchi was amazing.

Pros: Great coffee, Consistently nice service , Many great vegan options

Holly mother of vegan

I had the brown rice bowl and oh my goodness it was a party in my mouth. Could not recommend this dish enough. I don’t live close by but will definitely be back again and again for this dish.

Pros: Seperate vegan menu, Naked Byron sauces for sale , Delicious food

Wonderful food & Lovely staff

Good amount of vegan options , we had Cauliflower burger ( nice & unique) spinach gnocchi (pretty small dish but really tasty highly recommend) and side of hash brown (very nice as well). Really friendly staff. We would definitely be back.

Great food

Dropped in for lunch & was impressed with a good range of vegan options.Scrambled tofu with hash brown,broccoli in miso & spinach was very tasty.Service was excellent but will ask for a double shot in my latte next time.

Amazing food

Great spot for lunch, separate vegan menu with 7or 8 items to choose from,
All items looked very tasty.
Waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Pros: Knowledgeable staff, Good pricing, Tasty food and great coffee

Excellent for lunch

I have eaten here many times. The separate vegan menu is updated every few months. The nutrition bowls are always outstanding. The tofu scramble is really bland so go for lunch, not breakfast.

Pros: Great place to go with non vegan friends , Licenced

Cons: Can be noisy , Tofu scramble is bland

Enjoyed our lunch here

I would like to give this place 4.5 stars, but half stars are not an option (and 5 stars are only available for exclusively vegan and / or vegetarian restaurants). Food here was pretty good. I had the tofu scramble with the addition of a relish, a hash brown and mushrooms. Sides were a tad on the expensive side, as someone else noted, but that’s the only negative. My husband had the burger which he enjoyed and he said that the accompanying chips were “excellent”.

Pros: Quite a few vegan options (separate menu)

Cons: Sides a tad expensive

Round Bird in Lilydale

I had the tofu scramble which they serve all day. It was really good. A big portion of tofu on sourdough bread and well flavoured. I had it with a hashbrown, some beetroot relish and spinach. The addition of all the extras made it a bit expensive. The service was OK by Australian standards (I don't find Aussie restaurant service very efficient or friendly generally). The beetroot relish had an unpleasant aniseed taste which spoiled the dish, however. I should have had the tomato relish.

Absolutely delicious. Beautiful place, friendly helpful staff! Great seperate vegan menu! Amazing Mushroom Burger. We will definitely be back! Loved it!
