Delicious roti wrap

On my recent trip in the Netherlands I saw a few places that were serving Surinamese food so I was curious to find out more. I popped in during a brief stop in Leiden and was not disappointed by the food.

I got a big roti wrap that was stuffed with lots of great filling. The base fillings were some green beans, cabbage and potatoes. The potatoes were nicely cooked and spiced and. The main vegan friendly fillings were some aubergines, a spiced tofu and some tempeh pieces that were reminiscent of little sticky fried Indonesian tempeh. The combination of everything was delicious, I think the tempeh was probably the standout of the fillings. The whole thing definitely reminded me of Indonesian food that I've had before but all wrapped up in a delicious soft roti rather than with a plate of rice.

There were also options for noodle and rice dishes but I was in a bit of a rush so didn't look too closely. The fillings are behind a glass counter and microwaved to get them hot before being put in the wrap. There was a bit of space to sit in but it looked like it was geared towards takeaway food.
