Perfect dinner! - Edit
Small restaurant (hard to get a reservation) but it’s totally worth it! Almost all the dishes are vegan or has vegan option. The food was delicious and the staff very kind and friendly. Do not miss it!

This place is hands down my favorite vegan food in Ponta Delgado (really all of Portugal). Everything is homemade and you can tell it's made with love. The owner is so thoughtful and kind. Highly highly recommend eating here, but make a reservation!

Only managed to come here for hot drinks & dessert as missed a booking with being sick & they are also busy at lunch & close their kitchen at 2:30. Had a banoffee pie & coffees with soya milk (had a vanilla taste). They were delicious and still gutted we couldn’t make it for a meal.

The restaurant felt fun and cozy; as there are so (very!) few tables, reservations are absolutely required every day. (This may be different in lower tourist seasons.) Multiple parties were being turned away for lack of a reservation throughout the evening.

Great vegan options and the staff were friendly and chatty. They gave great food recommendations and spoke to us about the island. Starters and mains were lovely - they tasty fresh and natural.

We didn't come that hungry to Rotas so we only had soups and starter and desserts but all was very tasty. We double checked that the mayo was vegan and the waitress said: "Don't worry honey, you are at home" which I thought was sweet 😃 Menu changes every now and then, most meals can be made vegan, the location is perfect but the place is very busy. Unfortunately we were not able to get a table the other night. Staff told us we could get a table at 10 p.m. which was in 2 hours. Better to reserve a table.

The only fully vegan/vegetarian restaurant on the island. We ate there every night that it was open (closed on Sun & Mon) Plenty of dishes - all the 6 mains could be veganised. Some of the starters and 2 of the desserts were vegan. Lovely owners - very friendly and attentive. All food was delicious.

Sem dúvida a melhor comida vegetariana que já comi, o espaço é super acolhedor e a comida divinal com um caseirinho que tanto gosto, eu comi os rolinhos de wonton de entrada, que estavam uma coisa de outro mundo, os cannelonis de courgette e bannofie pie. A minha irmã é vegan e teve muitas opções de escolha, maioria dos pratos tem versão vegetariana e vegan. O serviço 5*, uma simpatia de pessoas. Sem dúvida um sítio a repetir quando vier novamente cá. Convém é reservar com antecedência porque é um espaço pequeno e está sempre cheio.

I came here a few times for lunch and it was always fantastic! Their lunch menu is such a good deal as you get 1/2 dose of the soup of the day, a plate with a mix of two main dishes and cold herbal tea.

Fantastic food with the biggest variety of menu options for vegans I saw during my stay in the Azores. Not only does this restaurant cater well for vegans/veggies, it does so in fantastic quality and service. Staff showed good knowledge of food, and maintained professionalism whilst displaying sincerity and friendliness. My favourite restaurant in the Azores!

Durante a nossa viagem aos Açores procurámos um local para desfrutar de comida vegetariana encontrámos nesta aplicação uma boa opção perto de onde nos encontrávamos. Foi realmente uma boa surpresa pois a comida estava divinal. Tem opção de menu almoço, que dá a possibilidade de provarmos alguns dos pratos principais. A comida é muito saborosa e bem confeccionada. So happy to find a really nice veggie (mainly vegan) place in the Azores. We took advantage of the lunchbox meal (soup and 1/2 portions of any 2 mains) for €10 so great value and delicious! Also had the banoffie pie for dessert which was tasty!

Small veggie restaurant in the city center, a few of the dishes were vegan or could be veganized. Everything was perfect, lovely staff, nice atmosphere and delicious food. And to top this, incredible dessert! I would definetly recommand to visit this lovely place (reservation may be needed)

There was a bit of cheese on the vegetarian options but otherwise this largely vegan restaurant-cafe is superb. Nice small cafe ambiance for evening meal. I started with spring rolls with beetroot filling and tapioca caviar then my cup over filled with grilled broccoli with barley and peanut sauce. Too full for the array of desserts but had soy cappuccino. Do have a glass of Pico white wine heaven ... Freie Gigante. Two courses and wine coffee and lovely service ... €20!

I love Rotas! I have made it a point to come here every time that I am in Sao Miguel as much as I can. First off the owner is so warm and welcoming and remembers myself and family every time we even contact her for a reservation.
Read moreThe atmosphere indoors is cute and charming. Their menu changes monthly, as some of my favorites have come and gone, sometimes they do return again or something better comes along. The food is always amazing and the presentation is always on point, it makes you feel like you are at a much more expensive restaurant. All the dishes are vegetarian or can be made completely vegan (except some of the desserts.) I love this place and hope to come back 1000 more times.
