Tastes like home

Eating here is having a quality home cooked meal. Everything about it just screams comfort food and the owner just makes it even better. #Veganuary

A “must go” place for a hungry vegan!

This buffet-style restaurant is a hidden gem for vegans. You can take a small plate or big plate and fill it with everything you want. If you chose the big plate and it was not enough to make you full, you can refill the plate at no extra cost. The food looks simple, but its always fresh and really tasty! Jo’s restaurant is the best place for a vegan I’ve been to in Lisbon so far.

Pros: 95% of the food is vegan, Very affordable pricing, Jo is very hospitable ❤️

Cons: Opens only at 12 PM

Small Place, nice staff

It is a small restaurant with 2-3 options on the menu each day and a very nice lady, she explains everything and she owns it by herself. Mini and normal dish with varying quantities

Cheap and good food

The restaurant is really cool. You have a buffet with mostly vegan options and you can choose between a small (€ 5) and big plate (€ 7). The owner also is nice and gentle.

Good and cheap vegan food.

I loved this place! It's a vegetarian restaurant but almost all plates were vegan, including dessert. There were many good options on the buffet, including typical brazilian food, my country. The owner is very helpful and friendly, she made me feel very welcome there. Also, it's pretty cheap, you can choose between small or big plate (5€ or 7€) and pick all the food you want. Also, soups were 1€ and dessert 1,50€. A must go little place.

Pros: Cheap, Many options, Very cosy

Cons: None

It's like eating at home

The food was very nice, the curry and deserts were especially amazing, but what made the experience 5-stars was the owner/cook Jo that was ever so nice, she describes what went into the various dishes, points out what was vegan and ovolacto-vegetarian, allows you to sample the dishes before you decide what you wanted, which came in handy when I ordered the desert, and was all around super nice. Definitely going back whenever I'm in the neighbourhood.

Pros: Good food, House-like environment, The owner/cook was super nice

Honest Veggie Food near Alvalade

This is a very honest and small place near Alvalade that serves Veggie food (some eggs and milk-based dishes) with a few vegan options.
The food is really good, a bit of a macro pinch in it and the owner is really nice and welcoming, giving me all the info about what's vegan and not.

Pros: Good relation of price-quality, Kindness of the owner, The outdoor tables are really nice

Cons: Not all-Vegan, Not that many options, No Vegan desserts (only fruits)

Excelent food and quiet place

Almost 100% Vegan restaurant!

The tea is free and you can refill as much as you want!

You can enjoy a delicious meal with a good variety of ingredients and well balanced!

Some of the desserts are unique because the owner is always experementing new things int he kitchen! ;)

Pros: Almost 100% Vegan, Cheap but tasty, Quiet and cozy

Cons: Doesn't accept debit/credit cards

Basic but Satisfying

Not the most impressive veggie place in the city and a little out of the way perhaps but it was friendly and cheap enough to provide a good afternoon feed after a good walkabout. Quite small and basic inside with seats close to each other. You can get various meal deals here of a soup and main dish served with salad and a [censored] ranging from €5.50 to €7.00. There is always a vegan option such as a curry. Wouldn't go back but glad to say I have been.

Pros: cheap, meal deals

Cons: basic, tightly packed seats
