Delicious - Edit
I had the spaghetti agli olio which was simply delicious. An orange cake with whipped vegan cream for dessert. It was all excellent. It is a more fancy place.

Very delicious food, clearly marked as vegan on the menu - Edit
The food at Rosmarino was divine! The dishes were marked as vegan what I always appreciate and even the wine list states which wines are vegan.

I usually don’t eat dessert but the orange cake with vegan cream was sooo lovely.
Non vegan husband enjoyed his meals too.
The best restaurant we’ve eaten at in Taormina so far, I will most definitely come back for more.

Upscale dinner with interesting vegan options - Edit
This place was very beautiful and the service was amazing. It is definitely more of a fancy dinner experience. There are not many vegan options, but the vegan dishes are absolutely delicious. We had a bean soup appetizer, the aglio olio truffle pasta, and the vegan orange fairy cake. Everything was fantastic.

An oasis for a traveling vegan - Edit
Delicious meal. We had the spaghetti with mushrooms and flaked truffle, plus a side of roast potatoes and a salad of fennel, oranges, and capers. Followed that up with a dessert of orange fairy cake, and a lemon sorbet with strawberries.

Great well marked vegan options including wine - Edit
There are no fully vegan restaurants in the area but Rosmarino was thoughtful, considerate, and inventive in welcoming vegans. Can get a meal antipasto to dessert fully vegan, and not just the usual no-cheese options.

Fabulous 3 course vegan loveliness! - Edit
Perfect spot - right opposite a beautiful park. Amazing food. The white bean and tomato rolls with vegan mayo were awesome. The orange cake with vegan cream for dessert was my favourite course. This restaurant is not to be missed.

Possibilità di scegliere tra diverse opzioni vegane, tutto ottimo. Personale cordiale, preparato e pronto a dare consigli. Meglio prenotare, molto gettonato.

A delight! - Edit
A delight for vegans and vegetarians! We loved our truffle pasta and the fennel and orange salad. I was also pleasantly surprised by my drink (green tangerine soda) The restaurant is tastefully decorated, service is efficient, and vegetarian and vegan options are clearly labelled. We didn't try their desserts as we thought it would be cheaper to go get a gelato elsewhere. But it's a must try in Taormina, before/after a stroll in the nearby gardens.
Read moreThe only slight disappointment was the bread which could have been better (this is the Frenchie in me talking!) And they do serve meat, including veal...

The vegan options are a feast - Edit
Even if unfortunately the place is not vegan, they do offer delicious vegan options, and most of all I liked the diversity in one menu item. Smaller bite size of vegan goodness but this way you could try so many different things, just in one plate.

Great option! - Edit
The place is very beautiful. They have a clearly stated vegan option for each course (antipasto, primo, secondo and dessert), plus some side dishes. I got the vegan board and a salad on the side. I wanted to try the pasta dish but unfortunately I’m broke✌🏻. Anyway, it was all truly delicious and the staff was very kind and welcoming. It says 3$ here on happy cow but the prices are really not that high compared to the average in Taormina. Would very much recommend!

Disappointment - Edit
Big disappointment. Smashed potatoes with fried egg and old mushroom for 18 euros. The service is rude, next to garbage cans, flies fly on the face and food. My partner ordered vegan spaghetti, was also average. Don't waste your money, I don't know who left the previous reviews. Seriously

Best aglio e olio with mushrooms and truffle - Edit
This was a lovely spot right next to the public gardens. We ordered the spaghetti aglio E olio with mushrooms and truffle. Simple yet one of the best dishes we had.

Tasty food and good service - Edit
I had high expectations when I came because of the review on Happy Cow. The food was tasty and the service was good. I expected more options on the menu and the side dishes were good, but not spectacular. However, the vegan starter and the spaghetti was very good and we enjoyed a nice evening.

They have a good number of vegan options on their menu. I got their special, which was linguini with asparagus. It was actually pretty disappointing. Maybe it was just the wrong thing to order.

We had the vegan board which was fabulous, it consisted of a mini vegan burger, mini arancini, eggplant parmigiana and a few other things. I also had the spaghetti with truffles and oil and garlic which was also quite nice. Great experience, would go again.

Sicilian Cuisine made vegan - Edit
Really good vegan options. Even though the place is not vegan they have clearly labeled vegan options and the food is amazing. I have ordered the vegan board full of Sicilian specialties made vegan. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet and nice place where to taste real Sicilian cuisine.

Traditional Sicilian vegan food! - Edit
This restaurant had very limited vegan options so we were hesitant at first, although they were clearly marked on the menu which was good to see. I went with the vegan taster board which was a selection of traditional Sicilian dishes and every one was delicious, and lovely to get to try some dishes I wouldn’t have been able to anywhere else. The polpette in lemon leaves for main was amazing although I couldn’t finish it after the starter! The staff were soooo knowledgable and gave great recommendations for everything. Only downside was the price, but worth it for a lovely Sicilian meal. Would recommend booking.

Amazing vegan sharing platter - Edit
The atmosphere and location of this place is so lovely. Paired with the vegan sharing platter for starters which gave a decent effort of adapting location Italian delicacies into a vegan starter was gorgeous. The truffle spaghetti was lovely, could have had slightly more flavour but delicious non the less. The wine options were flawless and we had a great one recommended to us. Staff extremely helpful too.

Great little restaurant with lovely terrace. The menu has clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options. We had a truffle pasta dish and white bean stuffed leaves. Most sides are vegan as well, we had the potatoes and green beans. Both of which were amazing. Also had vegan desserts but we were too full to have one!
