Mixed...

The good:
- The owner was friendly
- It had a countryside cafe feel about it. 'Or shabby chic'
- They're clearly passionate about the speciality teas and there's lots of them
- Quite a varied menu and it's unusual in that it's a Lebanese cafe
- The vegan breakfast was nice (Lebanese bread with middle-east spices)

The bad
- The soya milk was off and it had obviously been sitting there for a while; the (friendly, well-meaning) owner said he wasn't sure so he tasted it beforehand, but when told it was off he said he wasn't sure what it should taste like!
- There were two microwaves that dominated the behind-the-counter area and they were in constant use. It didn't give confidence that food was freshly made...

Pros: Nice interior, Tasty vegan breakfast

Cons: Soya milk was off, Microwaves

would give 5 if I could

I went to this little individual cafe for the first time yesterday and loved it from the first moment on. The owners are super friendly and approachable. They answered all my questions e.g. which oil they use to cook and were extremely flexible with the dishes. I got a vegetarian dish which they turned into a vegan one. The food was delicious and looked really nice. You feel the care the owners bring to this place. Would give 5 stars if I could (but can’t because it’s not a meat free cafe). I’ll be back for sure.

Very disappointing

The place looks nice and cosy but the food is not good. Falafel wrap was ok, but the Spinach filled pastries were old and dry. The fruit cake was the one I regret the most: must have been there for months and was completely dry. No vegan cake is available anyway.

Pros: Nice decor

Cons: Horrible food, this shop should be taken off happy

Worthy of 5 stars...

...were that allowed for a listing that serves meat.

Absolutely delightful cafe, from the inside decor and the outside garden, to the friendly, clearly passionate lady (presumably Rosie Chai) who works there, to the food that's served.

The interior will tell you of the passion that the owner has for tea. On the menu are eighteen different types of tea, so perhaps view this as a tea-house that serves food.

The menu is a little limiting for vegan diners, but the four or five choices there are all look delicious. The falafel wrap that I had was excellent, and great value at £6.

Certainly the best place I'm aware of to get a vegan/vegetarian lunch in Twickenham.

Pros: Excellent food, reasonably-priced, Passionate owner, Clean, bright atmosphere

Delicious and friendly

Lovely little café with delicious food, great menu and friendly owners.
There is meat on the menu but there are also many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
