A whole vegan menu with lots of options. The kimchi veg is especially nice! The staff are so friendly and it’s so nice to sit outdoors in the little street.

restaurant is located in a very cute and calm street, staff is very friendly and helpful. there is a separate page with vegan options, which makes it easy to get an overview. would highly recommend if you’re visiting lisbon.

It’s in the most beautiful street and the staff are so friendly! Vegan options weren’t labeled but staff speak English and point out the vegan options. Owner is super friendly. Would recommend booking

It was super busy when we came by. Both of the staff members (i think the guy was the owner) took their time and we felt really welcome. The girl could tell us exactly what vegan options they had.
Read moreWe ordered two really nice cocktails and they came fast. The food took a little longer, but it didn't bother us because the vibe was really good.
The owner noticed that we where waiting (not that long tough), gave us some extra food and it was AMAZING. It was super flavourful and it looked really pretty as well. We had a really nice overall experience.

We walked past Roots earlier on the day and it looked really nice. When we arrived at night all seats were full but the waitress was very friendly and a table opened up soon. It was very busy so it took a little longer to get the food, the owner was very open and clear about it so that was not a problem at all. He said they take great care of the meals so that's why it takes a little longer. We enjoyed a good cocktail in the meantime. The food that followed was definitely worth the wait and completely vegan. Great people, great food, beautiful spot. Would recommend!

Enjoyed the Thai tofu and curry with rice and a white wine sangria. Very nice, friendly service from the person who was serving the whole restaurant. Tiny spot that feels like a slice of tropical paradise (both inside and out) in Lisbon’s “Green Street”, a narrow road/alley covered in plants and twinkling lights.

Really lovely little restaurant. Located on "green street". Very friendly staff. Good selection of vegan dishes and vegan tapas. We had the Brazilian stew - Moqueca - with plantain. And Jackfruit Rice. Both dishes were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

The menu is kind of going in all direction, so it's kind of confusing. The waitress was super nice to explain everything and she introduced me to their veganized moqueca, when I had chosen the teriyaki tofu.
Read moreWe probably didn't understood each other and I ended up with the tofu teriyaki AND the moqueca. It was a bit too much for me and it also made the bill quite expensive...

Very vegan aware, good food - Edit
When we sat down the waitress asked us if we were vegan/vegetarian and when we said yes she explained each vegan item on the menu and the options available that weren't on the menu. We were really impressed by how proactive she had been and she helped us select a couple dishes. The food was very flavorful and presented nicely.

Amazing cozy atmosphere in the middle of Lisbon - Edit
We stumbled upon this gem by coincidence, the atmosphere was heartwarming and there was a big sign outside listing vegan and vegetarian choices. We wondered, why it wasn‘t listed on HappyCow and waited some time in front of the Bar. The very friendly and kind owner came outside and invited us in. His english was the best I‘ve heard since being in Portugal and he‘s very open, so it‘s easy to talk with him about special wishes or something (or just chatting in general) and he will do anything to fullfill your needs. Didn‘t had the chance to try any of the many vegan dishes because we‘d already eaten before, but probably we‘ll come back and try. Prices are reasonable here and the service, of course, is great. Four bigger tables located inside which are getting full fast. We had cocktails tried sake, all great. Great selection of alcoholic beverages for portuguese niveau. Would recommend.
