The best vegan breakfast in the city - Edit
We have tried a lot of the cooked breakfasts in Glasgow and we believe this is the best by a considerable margin! Puts rose and grants to shame! The food feels very clean…fresh ingredients. You get a big plate of veg, beans and a meat replacement. Also the staff are really friendly and it’s nice to sit in. Super recommend this!

Pricey specialist store - Edit
As this shop serves meat I'm not clear why five stars are offered. Based on the high Happy cow ratings and considering the many great vegan experiences I've had in Glasgow this shop was a bit disappointing for me. They had meat option sandwiches and sausage rolls available - the vegan options had all sold out! Not sure why they don't take that opportunity to stock more vegan vs meat products. A few nice vegan products I've not seen elsewhere was a plus (though I didn't buy any as they weren't fairtrade or equivalent). The real highlights are the waste free dry produce and the high quality fresh produce (though expensive).

Cons: Serves meat, Expensive, There are few vegan specialty products

Great shop, but not as good as the one on Great Western - Edit
This is a terrific shop for fruits, veggies and all kind of items which are often hard to come by in supermarkets. Very high quality products, which also means that everything is a bit more expensive here. The bread they have is great (but check before which ones are vegan - some contain dairy!)
Read moreIf you are living in the west and their shop on Great Western Road is closer, then you should go there, as the selection is larger.
Pros: Great selection, Nice local shop, Good bread

Handy source of picnic for Kelvingrove Park! - Edit
This shop is not to far a walk or cycle from Kelvingrove Park, so good for a healthy picnic feast! Hidden Lane is also nearby (tearooms and craft/ art shops).
Read moreThe fruit and veg selection is excellent, beautiful varieties of unusual produce as well as locally sourced produce too. Some organics.
The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable and happy to explain all the ingredients and sourcing for deli products and will also order things in if you want something in particular.
There are many vegan products, store cupboard ingredients and also a selection of juices and drinks on offer.
It is an excellent shop to explore.
Pros: small store, many products, knowledgeable and friendly staff, good deli selection
