-varying portion sizes
-I’ve had the same dish barely covered, “drizzled”, and “drowning” in sauce
2) this inconsistency depends on:
-who is making it
-whether you’re at the Northvale [NJ] (brick & mortar) or Orangeburg [NY] (food truck) location
3) menu pricing can be hard to determine and sometimes the staff isn’t sure what or how much to charge
4) some of the staff seem a bit lost/confused/misinformed...
-I had an employee not know how much change to give me so I had to break out my own cell phone calculator and tell her how much change to give me back 🙄
-I had an employee tell me they’re a “raw vegan” restaurant. When I asked how they could be vegan if honey is on the menu, she replied “oh, we’ve recently changed to being plant based”. That’s cool and all, but honey isn’t plant based 🤦🏻♀️
Despite this seemingly negative review, I would suggest trying their food as the food is usually pretty yummy & it’s a pretty decent option for vegans.
The food truck is located in Orangeburg at Bel-Ans, which is a community of artists who use the surrounding building spaces to create. There are also some farm animals and a yoga studio (Playful Yogi Space) on the premises. And lots of different places to sit, chill and eat.

Great many choices - wraps, smoothies, pizzas, tacos, burritos, teas, etc. Not a "everything that is vegan is made to taste like the meat dishes", so you will experience some great new tastes if you don't regularly go to raw vegan restaurants. Not everyone will like everything on the menu, but everyone will find several things they like. "Hippie" atmosphere, most everything is made fresh so expect to wait a bit for your food, but is worth waiting for. Has indoor and outdoor seating.

This place is the coolest restaurant ever. Completely raw, vegan dishes (minus the honey) with flavors that will not disappoint, but the incredibly delicious food is only a fraction of the overall experience of coming here. They have live music with light shows, a fire pit, outdoor seating with comfy couches and pillows, and it's dog friendly. Don't know what more I could ask for.

Roots Cafe Food truck is also awesome! - Edit
I had the opportunity to enjoy a couple selections from Roots Cafe's food truck at the Hudson Valley Veg Fest. I first enjoyed a delicious plantain and flax wrap with greens and a bit of cheese sauce. The wrap was really good, a couple people at the veg fest asked where I had purchased it and then headed in that direction! Later in the day, I tried the phad thai with zucchini noodles, avocado, mango, onions, and red peppers. Also quite good!
