Glad they tried to include us vegans

I had a tofu scramble burrito. It was OK, but was full of tofu and chili spice which made for an overwhelming rather than a tasty dish. I also got a chumus appetizer to go. It had kind of a peculiar taste because it was made with edamame beans instead of chickpeas, and because they put oil on the accompanying bread. Also, it all slid sideways in the overly large container. I was frustrated with the menu, but glad that they were trying.

so good - would give 5 stars if I could

While this is not a vegan only restaurant, the options that can be made vegan are clearly labeled. I tried both the beat salad and the veggie burger and both were excellent. This is the only place I want to dine at DIA for now on!

Best option for vegans at Denver airport

Root Down's original location is celebrated among Denver foodies for its creativity and farm-to-table freshness. The airport branch is a welcome addition, providing what's probably the most salubrious fare at the airport, and also a finer-tuned sensitivity for preparing food for vegans. It's in the heart of concourse C, which is a bit out of the way for most United and American passengers, but if you have a long wait it's worth taking the train over for a better meal.

Enjoy!

best vegan option in DIA

Locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to sustainability makes this a rare gem for an airport restaurant. There are several vegan options in every category, from breakfast, salads, entrees, etc. Highest quality vegan meal you'll find at DIA, and service is great too!

Great vegan airport did

Vegan options are clearly marked, with options for brunch and sandwiches. I suspect the menu changes often. The masala tofu scramble with home fries was very yummy! other choices include veggie burger and soup. located right outside train in terminal C

Pros: vegan options clearly labeled

Cons: a little busy

clearly marked vegan options

Very busy restaurant in terminal C with clearly marked vegan options. Menu says marked items are vegan upon request, but I always let the server know I'm vegan in mixed restaurants. I had a nice salad with beans and arugula. also had a vegan veggie burger. I would have the salad again but not the burger.

Pros: vegan options clearly marked, some seats have nice views

Delicious food

We were here for dinner after our flight was delayed. A bit pricey. Burger was $15 included cross cut sweet potato fries. My adult daughter had the Bento Box ($22) too much food for her, extra eagerly consumed by her dad. I would eat here again.

Pros: great service, delicious food and plenty of it

Cons: pricey

A good choice for traveling vegans.

Surprised and relieved to find this gem at the Denver Airport! Service was good given that it was incredibly busy. Waited less than 10 min for a table at breakfast time. Ordered the tofu scramble and enjoyed it. I didn't really like the tahini however. The potatoes were tri color and really good. Dish came with a side of arugula with light dressing and it was a great touch. Boyfriend had breakfast burrito and liked it, but didn't care for the mole sauce.

vegan options at airport

Considering there aren't usually many vegan options at airports, it was nice to see vegan items cleared marked on the menu, both for breakfast and dinner. I arrived at 11am and opted for breakfast and the tofu scramble. It arrived with roasted potatoes and arugula. It was quite nice to have a proper meal before boarding my flight home. As it was so busy, I sat at the bar and the staff were nice and quick. If you are ever at DIA, check them out!

Pros: vegan options at airport

A fresh oasis in an otherwise bland airport

This restaurant bar offers clearly marked vegan options on their menu, including a house made veggie burger, and fresh tofu salads and a vegan bento box. But they really shine with their cocktail bar that uses fresh juices. You can probably spend more here than the airfare for your flight. But eating here is cheaper than a first class upgrade and the food and drinks are way way better. Easily worth the trip from terminals A or B if youre here on a transfer.

Pros: clearly marked vegan options on the menu and a fri

Cons: expensive

Overpriced

I'm sad that this is probably the best option for vegetarian food at Denver's airport. The prices are high even for airport food and portions are on the small side. Wifi was slow as well. Jamba Juice may be a better option =)

Pros: Vegetarian and Gluten Free options

Cons: Price, Slow wifi, Portions
