Big Disappointment - Edit
This was a horrible experience. Wait staff was completely rude. Vegan order was cross contaminated, staff did not even care.

Vegan slinger - Edit
Not a lot of options, but the vegan slinger is worth the visit for breakfast. Delicious teas and coffee with plant milk as well.

Filling and tasty - Edit
Had the vegan slinger and coffee. Coffee was great, although they did bring me cream on the side when I said no to cream. Vegan slinger was a huge amount of food for a fair price, although did need some extra added salt. Overall really good 👍🏼

Decent options - Edit
They have a few vegan options. My favorite is the vegan slinger. The savory vegetable crepe is just ok, I don’t recommend it and it is very dry.

Delicious! Would eat again! - Edit
I loved this place. A friend and I had brunch together, (she’s a meat-eater, & I’m vegan) and we were both given just as many options. I felt very catered to at this restaurant. I’ve noticed it’s really hard to find breakfast places with good vegan options. But this place had it going on! Vegan sausage, vegan gravy, vegan eggs, all were good quality and highly flavorful. Hearty and filling, and yet still feels relatively healthy. If I could give it 5/5 stars, I would! Will be returning to this restaurant.

One real vegan option but delicious - Edit
The vegan slinger is delicious. They can make some crepes vegan but the one I had was dry roasted veggies in a crepe, no sauce, nothing special. The slinger is where it's at. Has good coffees/lattes with plant milks

Cute breakfast spot - Edit
They only have one vegan option, the vegan slinger. It was so good! It had tofu, vegan sausage, potatoes, and was topped with gravy. Service was good also. Would recommend.

SERVICE:
Read more1 hour wait for a table on Sunday. No issues there. You can leave and wait in your car; they’ll text you when your table is ready. When it was ready, it ended up being a community table, which we didn’t want. Ok. So it’s after 1 pm by the time we’re seated. We placed our order. Food didn’t get to our table until 1:57pm, 3 minutes before they close, and about 40 minutes after we’d been seated. Ok. We never once complained about either of the waits.
At about 2:10pm the music starts BLASTING, Huey Lewis and the Blues, “Hit the B Square.” I mean, they really cranked it up to 10 notches past nightclub level. Between the song choice and the sound decibels they were clearly sending a message. We only had our food for 10 minutes!!
The server was not horrible, but he wasn’t good either. I confronted him about the music situation. His response was that management does that to hurry the staff along, not the customers. I call b.s. on that there!
FOOD:
Vegan Slinger: 7/10 - this dish was pretty good. Vegan sausage was ok but could’ve used a bit more seasoning. The breakfast potatoes were very good but there were only a couple of bites of those. Tofu scramble was good, but again there wasn’t much of it. The gravy was decent but there wasn’t enough for all the bread. Why so skimpy on these items?? The focaccia bread was surprisingly very soft. With this vegan bread and recipe they could easily make vegan french toast and biscuits, and then pancakes; the fact that they don’t is just lazy.
Taking forever to get our food then trying to kick us out 10 minutes after it comes is just something I’ll never get over. It took me forever to even try this place, and after this visit I have zero reason or desire to return.

I had the vegan slinger and it was really great and filling! I wish there were more vegan drink options, and the wait is a bit long on weekends. Otherwise great service and food!

One vegan option listed on menu but it's delicious - Edit
Rooster is a great brunch place to go with non-veg people. There's one real vegan option listed, but it's a good one. It makes a hardy hangover food. You can also make crepes vegan and the breads & jam.

Crepes can be made vegan & there is also another vegan dish. Prices are really good. Usually very crowded so try to make a reservation. Overall, food is pretty good for vegans.

Wish I could give it 5 stars!! - Edit
Although it only had 1 (labeled) vegan option, I got the vegan slinger and it’s the best vegan breakfast I’ve ever had!! Everyone on here said the service was slow but our food came out in 15 minutes when it was a busy brunch time. Service was great and again, meal was AMAZING! I’ve been back 3 times since😍.

Not terrible - Edit
Service was not very fast. Our waitress was really nice, but not very attentive. The food was good, but there was not many vegan options. Crepes were vegan, but there wasn’t many vegan flavor options. However, there is vegan sausage and that was food. Many more vegetarian options. Overall, service was not fast at all, but the food was not bad.

Mediocre food. Hot & cold in places. Super slow service when the restaurant was not busy. Good luck if you want a refill on your coffee. One of the worst meals of my life.

LOVE LOVE - Edit
I love going to rooster because it’s a breakfast place that can give me more than just potatoes or toast or lunch when I’m eating with non-veg friends. They have an amazing vegan biscuits and gravy! It comes with potatoes so delish! And their ketchup is freshly made I like it it’s very fresh. The service is alright depending on where you go. I definitely like the vibe and service better at the Grand Blvd location.

I've been to Rooster numerous times, they have vegan sausage as well which is definitely a great add. I generally get the Goat Cheese #2 with no cheese, it has spinach, mushrooms and I'll add vegan sausage and roasted tomatoes.

Waitress was TERRIBLE (!), Manager was great - Edit
Just went to Rooster for breakfast. The word 'vegan' does appear on their menu but the staff is NOT educated at all about what it means. Our very unfriendly and unhelpful waitress needed an explanation when I asked for non-dairy coffee creamer (I seriously had to explain that one). And then seemed annoyed when I asked for a vegan crepe (chef's choice - I like EVERYTHING vegan). She said they would just take the cheese off and I could have eggs and veggies. We decided to just leave rather than explain veganism to her. On the way out, we accidentally ran into the mgr who asked about our visit. He saved the day - re-seated us, and served us a very nice vegan breakfast. Too bad we were already frustrated and wasted 30 minutes with the very bad waitress. Be warned. And be patient. The food was very good but the experience was not.

Pretty good, not really for vegetarians - Edit
This is a nice, laid back place which focus on locally grown or raised food. Most dishes have meat or cheese or dairy. Everything was fine, but I did not see that much more vegetarian dishes here than in other placed nearby that are not listed on Happy Cow, and it does not cater to vegans at all.

knowledgable with some options - Edit
In St. L for the weekend and tried this restaurant for brunch. Have a few vegan options including a vegan sausage and gravy dish. There's a vegan/gluten free crepe option which was good. A good place when you're the lone vegan in the group but not ideal if you have several needing multiple options. Amazing drink menu for brunch!
