Lovely place in Old Rhodes - Edit
Really lovely salads. Will be going back to try other vegan options.

Delicious gnocchi - Edit
Had the vegan gnocchi with peanut pesto, and it was delicious! I loved it so much that I actually went back for lunch a few days later just to have it again. They also have vegan moussaka, and quite a few other vegan options on the menu.

Vegan moussaka! - Edit
Vegan/vegetarian options are clearly labelled on the menu. Staff knew what was vegan or not. Vegan moussaka was great and it was a large portion. Would recommend 😊

Food was great, service not - Edit
Multiple vegan options, I ordered vegan moussaka, and it was delicious. There was no meat substitute, but in vegetarian version of moussaka there would have been quorn.

Service, on the other hand was not very good. We came to eat at 5 pm., and the restaurant was completely empty. We were the only ones there, as it was not dinner time yet.
We stood waiting to be served to the table for 5-10 minutes, while a group of waiters where chatting nearby. They saw us and kept glancing while chatting.
After walking up and asking if we could sit we finally got service.
Maybe this was my on insecurity talking, but I felt as if they were talking badly about us, because they kept pointing (subtly, but we could still see) at us, and rolling their eyes and laughing.
Our server was very nice and helpful to us when ordering and paying, but the rest were not so much.
3/5 and I do recommend just for the food.

Unclear what is vegetarian vs. vegan - Edit
The menu was a bit confusing as it was a vegan/vegetarian section, so pretty unclear what is actually vegan. The waitress told me the moussaka is vegan but when it came, both me and my boyfriend were very sure that it was only vegetarian.
Read moreI ate it anyway as I‘m making some exceptions on vacation and it was delicious but if you are strictly vegan I would not recommend.

Amazing food! - Edit
We both shared a Greek salad (without feta) and the zucchini rolls, both were delicious. For main we both had the vegan Moussaka, which was really good. Our server let us know the Béchamel sauce is homemade with coconut milk and vegan cheese, one of our favourite meals so far in Rhodes!

Vegan Moussaka - Edit
The vegan Moussaka was incredible. As an appetizer we had hummus with warm pita bread which was also delicious. The waitress was very nice and explained me which dish is vegan and which not.

Good food, but… - Edit
We had dinner at Romios, and the vegan food was great! I ordered a vegan gnocchi, and my boyfriend ordered a pizza margarita (vegetarian). They had a separate menu with vegan food, but you have to ask for this, and for me the options weren’t that great compared to the other non-vegan options (burger, falafel, etc.). However, confusingly enough they also had a vegetarian and vegan section in their main menu, but this was not the same as what they had in their separate vegan menu! When I asked what was vegan in the main menu, our waiter was confused and showed me that it’s all vegetarian in the “vegan and vegetarian” section, and I had to make sure he understood that vegan is not the same as vegetarian. I ordered the gnocchi, which the waiter wasn’t sure was vegan but had checked with another staff member. However, the gnocchi was very good! The pizza margarita was unfortunately disappointing. The atmosphere was amazing and I would really recommend vegans to come here, even though we had a confusing visit!

I had the beetroot ravioli with a chickpea purée and a fresh lemon juice. Ravioli was 10/10 on taste, amazing! But portion size was small. They also offer moussaka, pizzas and pasta all of which look like they would of had larger portion sizes. My ravioli was 15 euros.

Ich bekam eine extra vegane Speisekarte mit einer ansprechenden Auswahl. Ich habe Spaghetti gegessen mit Gemüse. Hervorragend zubereitet, großes Kompliment.

Delicious vegan options - Edit
The vegan moussaka using a meat substitute was delicious, as was the quinoa salad and the vegan pizza with vegan cheese. There was a choice of more than one vegan dish - the restaurant website does not list these at the time of the review, but we ate vegan. The setting is glorious - a beautiful outdoor area in the shade of a large tree. Helpful and friendly staff.
