Opened late-2014 this bistro serves vegan and raw-vegan dishes (from 8pm) inspired by local and international cuisines. Diners eat in the company of six cats who wander around the tables. Cozy atmosphere. Reservations are required for dinner, usually 5+ days in advance. Kitchen is open 10AM-11:30AM (breakfast) / 1PM-2:30PM (lunch) / 4PM-6:30PM (afternoon snack) / 8PM-10:30PM (dinner). Open Tue-Sun 10:00-12:30, 13:00-19:30, 20:00-23:00. Closed Mon.

Great food, cute cats - Edit
Romeow was by far the best cat cafe we have ever been to, both in relation to the food and the care for the cats. The place is tastefully decorated, the cats are relaxed and several groups of locals seemed to genuinely to come just for the food.

Food was amazing, so much choice. Service is a little slow but that seems to be the Italian way! We booked late and got sat outside so no cat interactions, none the less food was amazing some of the best we had on this trip!

Absolutely loved having dinner here with the gorgeous cats. The food is on the fancy end so expect to pay for it accordingly but it is amazing, staff are lovely and obviously cats. Cats everywhere.

Il locale ha delle vibes fighissime, il solo fatto che ci sono gatti che girano tranquillamente per il locale, dormono giocano o si arrampicano lo rende un posto particolare, il locale e super curato e pulito, e il personale simpatico. Il cibo e stra buono, una cucina gurmet vegana. Assolutamente da provare, i dolci hanno la fama di essere buonissimi, purtroppo io e il mio amico (non vegano che ha gradito tantissimo la cucina vegana) andavamo di corsa e non abbiamo potuto aspettare per provare più cose. Sicuramente tornerò.

I loved the concept and the menu of this 100 vegan restaurant, with a perfect mix of fine dining in a casual and cozy environment. The floats were top notch and you can tell there was passion in the food and plating. I loved what I had and looked at others peoples dishes with envy since it all looked delish. Not to mention the sweet and well behaved cute kitty cats hanging around wherever they please!

We stupidly came here on a Monday only to realise they were closed. Before coming back the next day, my (non-vegan) sister said to me, "This better be worth it!", and after our visit she agreed that it definitely was! We ordered pancakes and smoothies, which were both pretty and delicious. The cats are really cute, the only slightly annoying part was a group of children running after them. Our waiter was friendly. Overall the atmosphere is lovely, at least in the morning when we came.

Every thing on the menu was vegan, and everything was delicious. The coconut Carpaccio blew me away. Pad Thai was a group fave, I loved Seitan curry. Desserts all good especially the cheese cake. Staff really friendly started off as just a vegan place but the owner had cats so she thought to combine the too. Such a nice day.

Purrfect Way to Start our Vacation - Edit
We kicked off our first meal here in Rome and not only loved the concept with it being a cat cafe, but also the food was delicious! Had a wonderful pesto pasta dish and my partner had a tempeh dish and both were so flavorful and beautifully prepared. Some cats were more social than others, but overall lovely experience and high recommend adding it to the list! The food was definitely more upscale than your typical cat cafe, which was even more exciting!

We had a lovely time here, the cats were cute and the breakfast was good. We had a coconut milk, mango and vanilla smoothie, a cold cappuccino and pancakes. The place seems like a lovely place for the cats, with many places to sleep, climb and play, they even had a space in the window for them to get fresh air.

We loved everything about this vegan bistro. Don’t even give it a second thought- go here! Highly recommend making a reservation. We had three days in Rome and ate here one day for lunch. We ended up loving it so much we made a reservation for dinner the next night. There were about 2/3 Italians and 1/3 tourists both times. The food was excellent (save room for dessert!), atmosphere funky and hip, and it was very clean. It was an excellent cat habitat with lots of places to sleep, climb, play, and escape. Lunch had a quieter vibe and the cats were around a lot more (under the tables, on the tables, walking around). Our servers were friendly and efficient.

We stopped by Romeow for an afternoon coffee and snack. I had a cappuccino with hazelnut milk and the raw cake. The cats are so cute and may come to say hello, or just sleep cozily. Make sure you pay close attention to their opening hours on the website. Reservations are required for lunch and dinner, and breakfast and snack times are quite specific.

We ate a la carte and the food was fantastic. Good value but high quality food. Wine list modestly priced but good too. Don’t know what the issues with service are that have been reported but everyone was wonderful. Make the trip and get away from the tourists for a great vegan meal.

I felt like having a dish for a quick lunch, but you are required to get a minimum of two!!
Staff not very kind and obsessed with checking your health pass (if you are Italian, It doesn't apply to tourists...ridiculous)

We went there as a party of five (including a three year old child) for lunch and were very pleased with everything. The staff was exceptionally friendly (already when we made the reservation), the atmosphere of the place was really nice, the cats were cute and chill and the food was absolutely delicious! Finally an all vegan place to have a full meal (not just your usual vegan burger or pizza without cheese) that is not even that expensive. Our total bill was under 150€ which is absolutely okay for Rome. I didn't have any wine, but my friends said it was really good too. The place is really worth a visit!
