Hit or miss

The quality of the ice cream all depends on the staff. I've had some of the staff members give attitude for wanting them to clean the slate while others are understanding. But the ice cream itself is decent, just very pricey. I also don't like that they use essential oils for a couple of the flavors, including the lemon and peppermint.

Pros: DIY toppings and mix-ins are vegan friendly, GF

Cons: Expensive, Not a ton of vegan premade options

Enjoyed this!

Went here for dessert with my daughter and had not been here before. Used Google to guide us, but it was hard to find since they are tucked in the back of other buildings and no sign at the sidewalk. I should have gone in the day light hours to see where they are at, but we asked a nearby restaurant and they guided us. :)
It's a cozy shop with some seating areas just outside. They have plenty of options to choose from or you can "build your own"
We were hoping for them to use coconut ice cream as the vegan base, but the oat milk one was still tasty. The 2 young men working at the time were helpful and friendly. We would definitely go back again... especially now that we know how to find them!

Here is a picture of my bowl of "Hunk-a-chunk"

Pros: Plenty of choices, Friendly staff, Delicious treat

Cons: Was hard to find this location

Tasty but felt like an inconvenience

Went it and had to ask that they cleaned the cold plate. Staff acted like that’s not something that they normally do for the nondairy vegan option. It is a bit ridiculous for a company to label things as vegan and then prepare them on a cold plate that is completely crusted in milk products. The ice cream was good but I will not be back because I was made to feel like an inconvenience for not wanting milk contaminating the vegan option. They should have a cold plate dedicated to the non dairy items or just remove them from the menu if they aren’t going to do it right.

Pros: Lots of options, Tasty

Cons: Expensive, Lots of cross contamination , Staff not super accommodating

Maybe I don’t like rolled ice cream

If you like rolled ice cream, this place has many flavor options and seems similar to other rolled ice cream places.

Pros: Nice outdoor seating

Cons: Expensive ~$8 , Each item made individually = long wait for group

All the flavors!!

This is so good! It’s all about options for me and you can start with a dairy or coconut milk base and then add whatever you want to it. They scrape the ingredients flat then took it up and you can eat it with chopsticks! Another reviewer mentioned cross contamination but I saw them clean in between orders. Two locations one south and one by the river attached to Dorinda’s Chocolates at both.

Pros: Coconut milk option for all the things!, The rolls give it a nice texture.

Cons: A bit pricey., Lines when busy.

Rolled coconut (or real) ice cream

An interesting new twist on an ice cream shop, where the liquid milk (or coconut milk) is flash frozen, chopped with add-ons and rolled on a cold "grill" in a little performance, kind of like a hibachi (teppenyaki) restaurant.

Every flavor on the menu is offered with the coconut milk base instead of dairy, which is a great upgrade over the usual sorbet or one non-dairy flavor. But it isn't like they're using separate utensils or a separate cold plate, so if you are that dairy-averse, this isn't your place.

Pros: Coconut milk choice for every flavor on the menu, Delicious and decadent, Beautiful river across the street to sit and enjoy

Cons: Dairy cross-contamination, Sugar overload, Can get busy, line moves slow
