Restaurant Review - Edit
Organic Natural Cafe is a great place to eat and hang out.... All organic foods... Great Salad Bar... just a little too much 'oil' though.... Wonder if cooks can do a ''DRY SAUTE'' instead of oil frying?

We went here for breakfast before a long run, and enjoyed the food. Large portions and fresh ingredients. I like the juices as well.

Really sad - Edit
Got the veggie sandwich which was almost inedible. Raw mushrooms, Huge Slice of cucumber, and some sad sprouts, on a soggy bread slice... Also upcharged me $1 for daiya Cheez and then didn't put it on the sandwich. Coffee was okay although they upcharge for vegan milk and sweetener. Also the people working there seemed really bummed out so maybe manager is bad, just overall bad vibes. I also highly doubt the food is actually organic but that is just a feeling...

Yummy tofu scramble. The crispy Soy bacon was the best vegan bacon I’ve had. Healthy, fresh ingredients.

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT - Edit
I give 2 stars because I am generous. The staff (well, one of the staff) was friendly and helpful. The salad bar looked good, but at $10 lb... no thank you. I ordered a veggie wrap - I really think the only thing that was in it was spinach and maybe some tiny cucumber pieces. the taste conjured up the scent of lawn clippings, it was unpalatable. I had three bites and gave up. My husband had the Portobello burger... he swears it was just Portobello mushrooms sautéed in heavy oil on very cheap (unhealthy) white bun. The 2 carrot sticks, 2 celery, and one slice of cucumber with about 1 tablespoon of hummus was all I ate (that is considered a side dish). I am sure they must have some dishes that are tasty and healthy since I see 5 stars all over the place; unfortunately those 5 stars did not translate well the day we visited. I will not be revisiting this restaurant.

Love the salad bar , they should have special prices on certain days or sales because it is a bit pricey by the pound . Alot of all natural and organic vegan options on menu. Good quality , healthy food with nice and spacious, comfortable interior

This place is awesome - Edit
Veggie burgers and 100% plant based wraps, even the sauces and dressings were vegan. Turkey and buffalo burgers to keep any omnis in your group happy too. The salad bar was insane. Alllll the veggies but also tempeh, soy bacon and even nutritional yeast. I made a salad with creamy vegan chipotle dressing and that was the best restaurant food I’ve had in months. This is my new stopover when driving on I-5!

good vegan food - Edit
I ate from the salad bar. There was a large variety to choose from. I thought there would only be one or two dressing options, but when i got to them there was a good selection. The salad bar price was $9.50 per lb, but that is comparable to whole foods.

Highs and lows - Edit
My vegan tamales were yummy.
Read moreI also had a juice, and ordered two vegan doughnuts. The juice was perfect, and the doughnuts were delicious. I also purchased two slices of vegan dream cake to go. This cake looks like a delicious vegan berry cheesecake, but it tastes more like sherbet and granola. I honestly would not eat this cake again if I had not purchased a second slice.
The cafe was not busy, and my SO and I waited about twenty minutes for a burger w/fries and two tamales w/chips and salsa.
Pros: Perfect Vegan doughnuts and juice, A good variety of vegan options , Friendly staff
Cons: Vegan dream cake was a let down, Kind of expensive, Long wait for an empty establishment.

Not so clean - Edit
I have eaten here twice. [edit by staff - see tos]. Also, when I asked the owner what the ingredients were in a particular menu item, she stated, "I don't know. Ask the cook.".

It's good to have options! - Edit
I have eaten here before with mixed reviews (meh to yum!) and was hoping for a good experience today as it's one of the few places in town where I can get veg food that's clearly marked as such.
Read moreMy husband ordered the BBQ tofu sandwich and I had the veggie sandwich. Both were really well prepared, fresh and very good! The service was fast, but a bit unfriendly. None of the staff really smiled or seemed to enjoy being there which was disappointing. Also, we both had the side of veggie sticks and hummus, but noticed that the veggie sticks weren't very fresh (like they'd been cut up the day before and stored in the fridge).
All in all the experience was good. My meat eating husband loved his sandwich so much that he's going to try and recreate it at home. Yay for me!
Pros: Nice atmosphere, Tasty menu, Fast service
Cons: Indifferent staff

Excellent for Vegans! - Edit
In an area where vegan food is few and far between I eat here every chance I get. The chipotle burger is excellent and they use all vegan condiments so I don't have to skip the sauce. They have both a vegan patty and a tempeh patty to choose from. Also quite a few gluten-free products. Sweet potato fries are yummy too. And I haven't even tried the smoothies or salad bar yet!

Delicious food, Inconsistent Service - Edit
I've been eating at this restaurant since it was Grilla Bites. The menu has always been a dream & I adore the vegan food selections. Since becoming Organico's though, the service has become inconsistent, the hours are not as accommodating (a restaurant closed on Sundays?), and the menu is not as dependable (staple items like potato salad may or may not be available).
Read moreDuring my past two experiences with Organicos, there have been a number of service errors. On one visit, we specified "vegan" for our order but received it with mozzarella cheese. When we called, I was informed that I should have been more specific when ordering (despite the fact that the restaurant totes their "vegan" bakery & doughnuts) & then asked to check whether the "bacon" was soy or not. On the next visit, I took a friend from out of town there, & was disappointed when our soup was served cold, our orders were not correct, & the bills were all intermingled.
Overall, I'd love to see this restaurant improve these issues, as they really are one of the better vegan restaurants in town food-wise. Unfortunately, the service inconsistencies, hours of operation & lack of staff knowledge for vegan items is quite a let down.
Pros: A variety of vegan dishes & desserts, Hearty portions/Reasonable Price, Great Atmosphere
Cons: Some items not always available., Inconsistent Service, Staff Knowledge of "Vegan" is Subpar
