Big ol’ kick in the nutz - Edit
They used to have a few solid clearly labeled vegan options. Came after a long day at beach looking for soy curl sandwich and they changed the menu and now all they have is a 15 dollar vegan Caesar salad which is a bag of pre cut romaine, a sprinkle of vegan parm and some dressing… nothing else. I don’t understand why they get rid of soy curls and buy vegan parm and vegan dressing. Very disappointed.

It looked kind of gross inside. We waited about 10 min for a server (wasn’t very busy) so we just left.

Disappointing Experience - Edit
Beware! Veg options might come with a healthy dose of disappointment and cross contamination. I think we all know that this is going to happen at most non-veg restaurants when traveling, but here the service was also poor. From the time we stepped in, things didn’t seem to be run well with no host or way to get in. Once seated, we had to wait for our waiter because they were on their phone. When I ordered the Soy Curl Sandwich and checked to make sure it’d come vegan after asked if I wanted tots or fries, they said no problem, they’d bring me vegan only.
Read moreA totally different drink showed up than the one I ordered and then when my food showed up it had fries. I asked again if they were vegan since on the menu it said the fries and tots were only vegetarian. The waiter than proceeded to say that they were fine but cooked in the same as the fried meats and that I could get a side salad (not marked on the menu) for an extra $4. Another server also came by after someone else in my party didn’t get a drink they ordered and then after saying the same thing about the mixing of dishes said that they weren’t vegetarian so how would they know… needless to say, if I travel through Newport again I won’t be supporting Rogue.

Two decent options - Edit
Rogue has several vegan options including a beyond burger and a soy curl BBQ sandwich. Be sure to ask for the burger without cheese and specify vegan.

Only One Vegan Option - Edit
Unfortunately there was only one vegan option when I went on 5/13 which was a beyond burger w/o cheese or sauce. I was excited to try the soy curl sandwich I saw in other reviews but it was nowhere to be found on the menu. The burger was basic but the fries were amazing. Honestly pretty disappointed.

Soy curl sandwich! - Edit
Really great couple of vegan options especially the BBQ sandwich. We had some family members who had never heard of veganism try the soy curls and they thought they were great too. Good option for the whole family. Love that the menu was clearly marked with dietary options.

Vegan bbq sandwich + Beyond - Edit
So happy to find this place! We got the beyond burger made vegan (no cheese or sauce) and the bbq soy curl sandwich. Both were yummy and I loved the tater tots and fries that come with! They also had a vegetarian mushroom banh mi special but we didn’t try it.

Yay for vegan options! - Edit
While it doesn't have many it was one of few places that actually had options that wasn't just a sad salad or bowl of vegetables. Highly reccomend the soy curls the heat does build but isn't too bad. Has hummus as an appetizer and the beyond burger can be made vegan!
